I soo badly want to give this a thumbs up, but i just cant, not in its current state. A game of this size and price should have had more of the performance issues and bugs ironed out before launch, especially considering it had 2 beta periods before hand.
I will admit that the gameplay is almost exactly what i was hoping for, combat flows well and has been simplified in a way that makes it more fun and fluid to fight monsters.

I just hope they fix the performance and launch issues and then itll be a great game.

A worthy successor to the first game.

Cmon Valve, please get off your throne of cash for 20mins and send the bots back to the stone age.

As far as first person warhammer games go, this is pretty high up the list unless you play solo.
Play with friends and its 100 times better

I hate doing this but hopefully it might spur some change. I love this game ive played it since beta and ive enjoyed all the time ive had playing it, but recently it has just degraded to the point ive had to change my review of it.

There has been a steady decline in care and thought put into this in the past few years, the UI for example is an absolute train wreak, there is rampant cheating in the higher matchmaking and the game optimisation is utter trollop for a lot of people. I cant imagine what trying to get into this as a new player feels like these days but it cant be good.

i just hope that Crytek listens and fixes these issues in the future.

Awesome game, if you like adventure with a tonne of story and not much fighting for your life then this game will suit you.

An Awesome RTS with some really cool ideas however, when compared to its title and the reputation of the "Dawn of War" series, its falls short and a few ways which i really sad. i would suggest this to anyone looking for a good RTS but is not too worried about the Dawn of War legacy.
