I've been playing the game since it was in beta. Purchasing this game has been the best game investment in my entire life. If you're a fan of realistic gameplay this game is for you.

The new combat overhaul has made the game even better! There are far less people running and gunning through towns and more focus on tactical team play. Your movements have to be a little more calculated and the COD play style is less of a thing now. Now I see more realistic team-based sweeps of areas rather than a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off (although their are still the chickens, just a bit more tame). The new suppression makes you actually realize that danger is near and that you need to take cover. I cant see whats next to come.. This ICO update has been the best thing introduced since we were given the ability to vault - Chora was a nightmare back then.

Lots of online and singleplayer value here - especially if you find it on sale. Good base building, dungeons to kill things, slaves - have a slave follow you and help you in battle. I prefer to play without the Gods - kinda dumb (choose a server where no Gods or ignore that part entirely in singleplayer mode).

So far i have not really seen any real quests or missions - i may be wrong. It seems you have to find things to kill on your own. Would be nice if there was some more story to the game. It seems i just run around until things decide to attack me, then i kill them - or I die trying to run after realizing i can not win. There have been a few notes left behind that you find that can give you clues to things to find, but other than that, I have yet to see a friendly npc that needs help with something.

There are some interesting mods in the workshop that can add some flavor to the singleplayer (and online if they run the same mods).

BEWARE
18+ rating should be applied to this game due to full nudity easily available. I believe some regions have it turned off by default, but you can remove that with a quick internet search and easy file edit. So parents should take that in mind.

Overall a good idea - but needs lots of work. Its easy for a developer to drop things that kill you. Its hard to write story. There is no story as far as I can tell. Feels kind of like a shell of a game, but I'm still enjoying it as a survival game.
