Extremely nice city builder with a lot of extra content (either paid with DLCs and even more free content on the workshop). And every year or so there are new DLCs being published.

Awesome idea, awesome game

I've first played CS with version 1.3 and pretty much stopped playing with v1.6. A friend recommended CS GO and so I gave it a try.

I really like how they changed the game. Especially the new modes are really cool. I like to play fast paced Arms Race, Demolition and Deathmatch once in a while to improve my skills and to have some variation to casual and competitive mode.

The rank system is interesting and helps a little to estimate if the opponent just has good skill or is cheating. But aside to that I don't see a great value in it. The skin system is also something that is not very appealing to me, especially as it is generating a lot of money for Valve. And in the end I just want to play CS and not look at different skinned weapons. But I guess a lot of people like to change the skins of their weapons.

The new map pools improve the variation of maps being played.

Update: They added danger zone a while ago to compete with games like Fortnite. It's ok. With the newest operation Shattered Web they also added player models. Which is nice but might be confusing.
