For the woman who was
Taken from my heart and
Ripped from my soul.
Flayed, she lie upon that altar,
Spread bare before her perpetrator.
Drowned in poison and
Crushed by fear,
Murdered in all manners except physical.

Her memory will be honored, but she is gone. Yet I remain.
