This game is like a single-player, card-based, Car Wars crossed with Crying Suns. It's a lot of fun, and even in early access is very, very playable.

I have played 4x space strategy games since the days of DOS, starting with the original Master of Orion. I can categorically state that this game is one of the best I have ever played. It's very old school style, but that is what makes it so great. Turned based strategy and tactical layers, great depth and detail, and low pc requirements (I run this on a Surface 3, with an atom processor and only 4gb of ram, all the time!) make this into a wonderfully fun experience. Highly recommended!
