It's hard to make a player character both feel defined by the player and feel like a real person, and they do it here. Kim is a great partner. It will introduce you to an annoying little ♥♥♥♥ named Cuno that you'll want to punch and then by the end of the game you'll grow to love every interaction with him, and maybe even arrive at the conclusion that yes, you should give this child speed.
