one of the most atmospheric cyberpunk horror games ever.
this game very much nailed blade runner atmosphere. they even have rutger hauer to voice the main character!
gameplay wise, it's a walking simulator. you're a detective investigating crime scenes, and hijacking people's memories.
the world you get to explore in this game is relatively small but it is so drenched in detail and atmosphere, that it feels more than enough to enjoy.
highly recommended for fans of cyberpunk genre, especially blade runner.

+ Amazing futuristic atmosphere, environment and track design
+ Very good difficulty progression in campaign. From nice and chill tracks at the beginning, to very difficult and long tracks towards the end.
+ Easy to get into, but difficult to master driving mechanics. Quite satisfying once you learn and nail the track.
+ Track creator, and random track generators. Loads of great community made maps
+ Well optimized for lower spec PCs
~ Soundtrack is awesome, however it does get repetitive rather quickly.
- When it comes to competitive time trialing, tracks are completely ruined by huge shortcuts, often you'll see people spending less than 10% of the time on the actual track. That really put me off time trialing, which I usually enjoy in these types of games.

The game has amazing an atmosphere, great aesthetics and a decent story. However, the clunky gunplay, a decent amount of bugs, terrible AI and consequently pretty bad stealth mechanics makes it really tough (if not impossible) to enjoy.

A classic neo-noir TPS from early 2000s, with a great story told in a graphic novel style, with fantastic writing involving murder, corruption, drugs, the occult and mafia. Great gameplay with a few annoyances being unskippable cutscenes and at times questionable hitreg. Other than that, it's a very enjoyable and atmospheric shooter.

Has to be tweaked a bit to run well on modern systems.

It's a decent sci-fi walking simulator. As a fan of cyberpunk genre, I'm glad I played it as I loved the atmosphere, world building and story. The low poly design gives the game nice and unique feel. However, gameplay does feel like a chore most of time time - sluggish character control, a LOT of unskippable cutscenes and dialogue, a few tedious puzzles and a very repetitive soundtrack.
I recommend it if you're a fan of the genre, and can bear with dull gameplay in return for some nice cyberpunk aesthetics.

Pacer (aka Formula Fusion) is a decent Anti-Gravity game, but it has some major flaws.

What initially drew me towards this game was: interesting layout of tracks, environment design and atmosphere, and high speed racing. And the game delivered on those parts. There is 14 tracks, which can also be ran in reverse, mirrored and/or night settings. Most of the tracks are very twisty and technical, and ship handling (at lower speed classes) compliments the track design very well. Environment around those tracks and tracks themselves are all very diverse and each track has it's own charm.
Ships handle very snappy and sharp. Controls are simple and intuitive. There is normal steering and airbrakes, which help when turning into tight corners. There is 4 different speed classes: F3000, F2000, F1000 and Elite. Here is the first major problem: once you get to F1000/Elite speeds it will be quite obvious that the tracks were not designed for such speeds. Despite ships handling quite snappy, at those speeds it's impossible to run a clean lap without hitting and grinding walls. When you're first introduced to those speeds in the campaign, you'll be exploding every other lap or so from the damage taken by hitting and grinding walls. Not to mention tracks with jumps, where you will be flying out of bounds and glitching out at Elite speed. This is a major design flaw and honestly Elite speed should not have been included in the game. The game was most enjoyable at F3000 and F2000 speeds for me, where it is rewarded having clean racing lines, rather than headlessly zooming around, hitting all the walls and hoping for a good bounce.
There is 5 different ships, only 2 of which are fast enough to be meta on time trials. Unfortunately, there is no difference in looks of ships between classes. For example, Vixen in F3000 looks exactly as Vixen in Elite. Only difference is the speed. Despite that, I think that campaign is done very well. Each class has it's own introduction and a set of races in different game modes, tracks, layouts and side goals. Ships can be equipped with weapons. I personally don't like mixing racing and combat so I ignored this part of the game, but it can be annoying when AI uses it in campaign.
The game has multiplayer component, but it's pretty much dead at this point.
There is a lot of songs in the soundtrack. There is a handful of songs that are bad and don't fit the game at all, but majority of them are really really good.

Recommended if you can look past those flaws. Get it on sale, since it's not really worth full price (40€).

Can't really recommend this to anyone unless you're hardcore into sims.
UI is very clunky and unintuitive, despite getting an overhaul a few days ago. The game lacks time trial mode and leaderboards, which I was shocked by since everyone talked about this game as a go-to sim for time trialers.
Content is scattered all over the place. Default content is not very interesting (very basic cars and tracks). Most of the content
is on the steam workshop, but quality varies highly. The most popular cars (GT3, LMP ...) and laser scanned tracks (Sebring, Nurburgring, Le Mans ...) have to be purchased from game store, and it gets expensive very quickly.
Controller support is terrible. It is a pain in the ass to set it up in the first place, and even after that it doesn't work properly - doesn't work in menu, sometimes game doesn't register your controller inputs when you start racing, and such..
Game is poorly optimized and tracks load very slowly.
Once you get it going, physics and immersion are great, but imo it's not worth the tradeoff.

project cars 1 is very enjoyable game and a great entry into sim racing for a few reasons.
firstly, it has very extensive career mode. you start from go-karts (or some other low tier racing league) and work your way up to formula1 and LMP tiers. besides the main series you are currently racing in, there is also a lot of invitational events spread around the season to make it less monotonous. you can adjust duration and difficulty of ai for each event, which makes it very beginner friendly.
car selection is quite solid. there's over 160 cars in many different categories such as road cars, supercars, gt3, gt4, open wheelers etc...
car handling and physics feel just right. the game is playable on keyboard and controller, but you will need to turn on some driving assists for a smooth experience, especially if you're a kb player. i'd recommend to have at least gamepad because you really want that smooth steering and throttle/brake application. i personally play with xbox one controller and in chase cam view, and driving experience is very enjoyable.
track selection is good too. most of the circuits in the game are widely popular, but there's a couple of lesser known ones and some fictional tracks too.
multiplayer isn't very active, but there's always at least one server with a handful of people in it, however racing isn't very clean.
all in all, definitely worth a buy, even with all dlcs.

thoroughly enjoyable, start to finish.
interesting story, very well fleshed out characters, and a lot of little bits of information scattered around providing a nice back story about different places and people. setting and atmosphere are perfect. it was a pleasure exploring all the levels. you actually feel like you're 4 kilometers below the sea level. there's really no jumpscares (maybe a couple), but tension is always there and it gets under your skin. and yeah, the ending could not have been better.

the game is well known for being poorly optimized. the issue seems even worse on modern systems. it runs fine for some, badly for others. for me it was running often below 30 fps with everything on minimum (and i spent hours trying to fix it), which makes a fast-paced hack and slash game unplayable.
