Factorio is the kind of game where sometimes I will open it, realize the tasks I need to do, and close it immediately

Short (~2-3 hours), sweet, to the point. Great if you're into SCP type stuff! Clearly made with love.

Since the other reviews are missing this note: this game contains no real Jumpscares and is just good fun horror.

Minor note/gripe is that the time between calls can be a bit empty (no music!), especially if you read the entries in anticipation of the internet going down. (very minor spoiler)

Christ, this game gripped me and didn't let go until I beat it.

Which I did in 9 hours, and I was on the slow side. This is by no means a long game, but heck is it worth it. It's been a few days since I completed the game and now there's a hole in me where Obra Dinn used to be.

As far as I can tell, the game is an entirely fair murder mystery. Some of the details will have to be guessed, but I managed to educated-guess-or-deduce all but 5 or 6 of the characters' fates.

The one gripe I had with the game is the following:

At some point you will encounter a wall of difficulty. This by itself is not a bad thing, and finding clues after an hour of difficulty is enough to get my loins a-stirrin'. However, you can only see so much of the Obra Dinn before getting tired of walking everywhere. It would have been nice to be able to immediately enter the scenes after a while.

Regardless this is a good egg. I think about it often and fondly, there is little else that left such a lasting impact on me after such a small time.

This DLC pales in comparison to the equally priced Big Bank heist. Stealth is less developed, loud is less challenging/varied and the heist lacks the feel and character that I anticipated from the days leading up to the release.

For now I cannot really recommend this DLC.

this game is fun, but doesn't have the allure to make me play it 24/7. it can feel pretty intense in short bursts and playing with friends is guarenteed to make it either really fun to play or really hilarious to make an attempt at playing.
