A Total Letdown from Start to Finish

Dead Matter is a game I wish I'd never heard of. I didn't have the misfortune of following its development, but even as a newcomer, it's abundantly clear that this game is a total letdown from start to finish.

First and foremost, the servers were an absolute disgrace at launch. It's mind-boggling how a game can be in development for so long and still manage to have servers that are utterly unprepared for launch. Waiting for hours just to get into a single server is an exercise in frustration that no player should have to endure.

Once I finally managed to get into a server, the experience was far from enjoyable due to constant server lag and crashes. It's as if the developers completely ignored the concept of optimization. The lag made even the most basic tasks a chore, and the frequent crashes made me question why I bothered trying to play in the first place.

But the icing on the cake has to be the sheer number of bugs infesting this game. I couldn't even get into a vehicle without experiencing some sort of glitch, and the sight of floating zombies and invisible characters is just laughable. It's clear that Dead Matter was released in a state that can only be described as "unfinished."

Whether you followed Dead Matter's development or not, it's impossible to deny that this game is an abject failure. It's a prime example of how not to release a game, and it's an insult to the time and money of anyone who had the misfortune of purchasing it. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this disaster of a game.
