Game of the year or get stuck in a portal just like Gale

amazing game!

The really did the elephant like that...

Ever since the game was released on the PS4 I've been hoping for a release on the PC. After they announced this game for the PC I was so hyped for it. While it's release was buggy they pushed patches and updates weekly and they did improve the game.

Bugs and glitches aside, the story of this game is so well made. Anyone who likes playing open world games will 100% love this game. And I can certainly recommend this game.

Pro's:

- The story is very well made,
- The gear system is good but it can use some tweaking,
- The world setting is unique and vibrant.

Cons:
- Buggy launch made it difficult to play,
- Skill system feels to easy and not all skills are needed.

Played this game right after i finished Rise of the Tomb Raider this year, but the game did not disappoint. I loved the setting in the jungle. It gave me the survival feeling i enjoy so much in games. And we got some backstory about Lara which I was hoping for. That being said I will sum my pros and cons about the game.

Pros:
- Level design and sound design was almost perfectly made.
- Lots of exploration.
- Amazing graphics and motion capture.
- Great story and backstory about Lara.
- Nice puzzles which i got stuck at for a good while every now and then.
- Side quests were nice to do.

Cons:
- Weapons upgrades seemed dull to me
- The tombs didn't feel as rewarding to complete as in previous games
- The game is very hardware demanding.
- I personally experienced low fps in only 1 part of the map. Which made me get out of that part as fast as I could. I missed out on some gameplay because of it.

All in all I enjoyed playing the game. It was a good ending to the trilogy, but i keep dreaming about more Tomb Raider games. I recommend the game if you have played the previous ones. If i was to give a rating I will give it a solid 8.5/10

Skyrim has a solid storyline with a lot of side quest and a large map to roam in. I bought this game 2 weeks ago and i only halfway through the storyline.
