So, I have been playing this game for almost 10 years and I have something to tell

First of all it is a mobile game and I would not recommend it playing on Steam as a main platform. This was a measure to fight emulators, by sort of legalizing them. Second, if you are ready to spent some money here, consider buying existing account with rare mobs (ld nat 5s) the market is rather oversaturated and price is fairly low, Tier lists are available on Reddit.

To the gameplay: This is very slow pace gacha farmer which is inspiration for some other games of this genre. Good thing about it, you can always follow your pace and play the game you want and developer gives tools to spend as little time on that as possible: you are busy, so you start 40 minutes grind and forget about game, if you have time and want to play, game offers many different activities and challenges (which are rather common for this genre) Trials, achievements, constant optimizing, real time arena etc... And this is rather a good thing.

New players are showered with resources on the start, however this is a game about constant restricted and scarce resources, so you are forced to deal with existing and find ways to extract most and you are in constantly optimizing your existing resources to meet your new demands, Factorio-like but lacks dynamics.

Game is constantly updated with new mechanics, QoL and balance patches. I will describe community as very friendly and most of expirienced players would rather like to help a beginner and explain complex things and how to progress.

As for paywall there is only one in the competitive play, single play content requires only time and to understand it

So to sum up: is it a good game? I'd say no. Is it a good gacha game? Definitely yes.

Game where everything is on their place: setting, plot, style, gameplay itself, you'd barely see such cohesion between elements.
Great attention to the details. Addicting gameplay and challanges for every kind of player
