A huge step-up compared to Narco Road. If you want more Wildlands -- this DLC is for you.
The DLC takes place in some of the greener 3 regions of the main game with 4 new bosses, a new skill tree that allows some more aggressive risk-reward gameplay, new enemy faction with new enemy types which have some quirks to change up your gameplay and new side-activities to improve your rebel standing.

You start the DLC with all character skills, except for support upgrades and the new fallen ghost tree, which you'll have to upgrade. Aside from that the DLC introduces the crossbow, which you can arm with explosive bolts if you go through the new skill tree.

Quite honestly I have no negative points of my own, aside from maybe the tower missions being a little too crazy with patrols. I'd also like to add that this DLC has a decent atmosphere, but I don't really feel like the hunter-prey cards have been flipped enough and the music sometimes would cut off, killing the mood. Aside from that? Solid DLC for those who seek more content that isn't Narco Road.

Rarely do I actually try to make a cohesive review due to my inhuman laziness, but as a person who still tried to find good things in Ubisoft's older ventures, I was unfortunate enough to play this DLC for an otherwise underrated (albeit just in my personal opinion) game.

The DLC consists of a reuse of 4 regions from the main game, mashed together into a boring nothingness and introduces 3.5 bosses. You get no squad, you get the worst level of support commands, you do get most character skills maxed, lacking in some of them and you get no weapons from the main game. What you get is an annoying collection of side objectives that net you followers (so do the main missions), which bumps up your annoying and honestly distasteful follower bar which will be your progression for the DLC, which then spots an "informant" on the map, which in turn, acts as somewhat of an interrogation from the main game. But instead they give you a location of a bunch of useless medals and some weapon presets.

By far the most annoying thing aside from the way they handle the weaponry in this DLC, is the way the missions are designed. Each main mission drags forever and outstays it's welcome, taking you from one end of a region to another, often introducing you to a new gang and terrible placement of patrols, both of which spot you instantly and often result in defeat, setting you back 6-10 minutes. Some missions are just plainly sadistic, and I don't even want to imagine playing them on difficulties above regular.

The thing that annoys me just as much is the very first character you're introduced to. Do you like trying to drunk-drive in GTA? Well imagine that on steep, narrow and wriggly roads of Bolivia, while a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nuisance talks your ear off with random lines that make no sense or coherency, while your characters uses the same 4 to respond. This drags for what feels like 10 minutes.

To conclude, I also want to state that this feels like a DLC with something akin to missions that would fit in GTA or Just Cause, albeit done in a stupid and probably untested way. The story of the DLC is really terrible, with a very dumb twist. The only good things are the kinda cool car recolors, but they're nothing beyond that; a kind of redundant nitrous mechanic and the idea of being undercover as a merc working for the cartel. And quite honestly? The cons outweigh the pros. Avoid this DLC like the plague it is.

Not avalible in 177 countries, 3rd time hearing "we're listening to your nerf protests but all we can do is talk". Idk if this review's edit will show since I'm in one of said 177 countries. So much for democracy, eh?

Good campaign with some replayability, great zombies.
Feels good, looks nice, multiplayer is a tad unbalanced but still very playable to this day.
An amazing package if you're a black ops fan.

GTA V's story element is good. But this is where good things end. I don't want to spend my time on a full blown review, so I'll explain my negative review: stay away from online. Your sanity will thank you.

UPD: At least you can do stuff in invite-only and friend-only lobbies now. Still... The point kinda stands.
