this game is older than i am (20) i loved starcraft 2 and not once did i hear about AoE2. its so sad because i have been missing out on quite possibly the #1 RTS game ever made. just recently some friends of mine told me about it and ever since its been equivalent to a heroine addiction for me. i don't see myself playing any other game for a long time. there is such a high learning curve that i will always be striving to perfect my craft which is amazing. there is always something to do with or without friends. it caters to your everyday casual players all the way to your super competitive tryhards. it is really astounding to me that it took me this long to hear about this game. i beg you please tell your friends about this game. tell your teachers. tell anybody and everybody that AoE2 DE is by far the best RTS game on the market.

Very refreshing. some optimization issues early game with stuff loading in but in time they can fix that. not really worried about balancing at the moment as they have much bigger back end things to kink out first. over all id give the game a 6 or 7 out of 10. the points that are missing go towards optimization issues, and some bugs here and there. all in all if you're not super pretentious you and your buddies should have a blast learning the game and eventually trying cool strats out like playing Driver, and firearms expert. roll up on people slow em and grub baby. hope you enjoy the game as much as my friends and i and i hope to catch you on Orb Island Super Soldiers! -GLHF- TooTappy

If im being honest. the game is pretty good. still getting updated. still getting new content. runs better then it did with the previous owners of pubg. all in all its only gotten better since the last time ive played. just wish the controls were a little bit smoother. thats the only downside i have with this game. the movement is kinda clunky. if you're okay with that its just like any other battle royale. fun. better with friends. give it another shot.

literally the best game ever. loved it back in warcraft 3 and i love it even more now. much love to the devs that started it all. true love and passion put into this. great game to chill but still work the brain. simplistic by nature but with infinite possibilities. let those creative juices flow baby.

To tell you this game is better than day z is an understatement. In the short time this game has been out, which at the time i'm writing this it has been out for a month and a half, it is already smoother, less time consuming for loot, and overall just a much more fun experience than day z. if you like any type of survival shooters. THIS. IS. YOUR. GAME. The devs are doing a great job for being a 5 man team. think about that 5 people pumping out patches every 3 weeks or so. it takes Rainbow Six Siege entire dev teams to pump one out every 3 months. it is actually insane. put this game on your desktop and just let it age like fine wine. you will not regret it.
