Świetny shooter, bardzo dynamiczny, z doskonale skonstruowanymi mapami, różnorodnych zestawem broni i przeciwników. Nie pozwala na bezmyślne stanie za rogiem i strzelanie, zmusza do ciągłego ruchu (jak ktoś kiedyś powiedział - DOOM jest tańcem) i pamiętaniu o słabych miejscach adwersarzy,
