Cyberpunk 2077 was clearly not ready for release. In it's current state it mostly still is an empty shell of a game. Cool style (some nice visuals) over meaningful substance (content).

Cyberpunks world is mostly empty, you can hardly interact with anything you see. Non-mission-critical NPCs don't do much at all and feel lifeless. The story so far has it's moments but you can see every turn where they had to cut corners. The video montage after the first big mission feels like a glued together emergency solution, delivered as a video because the interactive content that was meant to be there instead was not ready in time. It hurts the games flow early in the game and felt ill fitting. There is so much more wrong with the game but what's the point.

I like Keanu, he seems to be a really cool dude and apparently remained very likeable, humble and grounded throughout his career. It's not his fault the game is in this state but I strongly suspect when they were able to get him for this game, they shoehorned his character into the game like no tomorrow. So instead of filling the gaps, finishing up that content they worked on that instead and sadly that didn't make for a better result if not the opposite. Keanu would have deserved a much better game, as lackluster as the game is he does his part well.

I hoped to play hundreds of hours in this game (did so in Witcher 3, owned on gog), around the lonely Covid- christmas/ new years holidays, now I'm bored after having reached 30 hours and deeply regret having wasted my money on this game.

Also the nudity/ gender thing, they simply lied to everyone and their marketing was among the most deceiving I ever noticed for a game.

The game is riddled with s*x toys as static props everywhere (which makes it feel like pubescent kids made the game who thought of it as being "edgy") but in the end the game is rather tame. You can choose a gender or "mix it up" at the beginning of the game while in the character creator but aside from there and in the inventory screen you will never ever see whatever you picked down below again. "V" apparently is a "Never-Nude" and wears underwear even while taking a shower.

Nudity is not why I bought the game but to me this simply feels like adding insult to injury, lies on top of lies. You can run around in your undies all you want or even topless, nobody will react to it in any way whatsoever. And if you hoped Cyberpunk would be on the forefront of some gender or censorship issue, nope think again it was simply bate ahead of launch and is of no consequence in the game.

Simply not worth 60 Euro in this state and with so much content clearly missing. CD Project Red ripped PC Players off and Valve/ Steam made it easy for them with their 2 hour gameplay refund policy (which is nothing for an RPG, especially with a game that you really want to give a chance and with wildly varying individual parts in terms of their quality and how they fit together). Don't buy for at least another 6 months!

Sadly nowhere near the Achievement Witcher 3 was.

After an especially bad year, this is an utter disappointment. I wish I would have bought Baldurs Gate 3, Anno 1800 or Mount and Blade II instead.

The game is simply amazing and that is even pre Definitive Edition Update.

One thing I would like to see changed/ revised is that often when you get into cinematic style close up conversations, the NPC you talk to is visually cut off in odd places, usually the head. So you happen to talk to a lot of headless NPC's and a large portion of the screen is filled with Text, so instead of listening and enjoying the view often there is an accidental forced focus on that text and only little visible parts of NPC's at odd angles. If it actually works right on the other hand you see the usually bland facial expression of NPC's but still a large portion of the screen is covered with text. It feels like this could be done better in both cases as it disctracts a lot.

Otherwise an amazing game I highly recommend playing.

Well, I really wanted to like the game, but it's simply too formulaic and uneven an offering. The Telltale typical illusion of choice has been commented on before so I won't go over that again. Suffice to say the mechanic feels lazy by now and has gotten implemented ever so half assed.

Now the second game has been released already but the first games performance issues have yet to be fixed and there is no indication Telltale is ever going to bother fixing them (by backporting whatever engine advancements and fixes which surely have been made).

On the technical side of things it doesn't offer an option for real (so called "exclusive") fullscreen mode and you only get "borderless windowed mode" which together with some vsync and initial scene loading issues causes major stuttering and slowdowns.

Sadly Telltale seems to settle for low quality plot and tech and what you really pay for here is their Batman licence. If that alone is enough for you, then by all means knock yourself out.

Bioshock, set during 1960, in Rapture, a fictional underwater dystopian city, is a game one of its kind, with it's dense atmosphere and stunning visual concept.
Must-have!
