The Fox and the Grapes

A hungry fox stole into a vineyard one day. There he saw bunches of sunripened grapes hanging high on the vine. They looked so plump and juicy, he could hardly wait to eat them. He jumped up to the seize the nearest bunch of grapes, but they were too high and he could not reach them.

He jumped again and again, but again and again he missed. At last he looked up at the grapes and walked away, saying "Which proves, of couse, that it is easy to despise what you know you cannot posses."
