I expected big dark souls.

I received humongous dark souls.

Zero Complaints on gameplay, all the complaints on optimization which was announced to get fixed.

I'm not really sure where to start with this game, it's amazingly well made for a person to start into the series.

Of course, people who have already played the previous games may find it a little more easy than I do, because of their experience on what to do, what not to do, and how difficulty ramps up.

But what I can safely say, the combat is very rewarding and rarely ever have I died unavoidable deaths, well, besides one sort of death, falling. It's unavoidable because no matter how hard I try, I will get caught in the heat of the moment and die. But at the same time, it is usually the least punishing death, as you can, most of the time, retrieve the items you lose on death and thus lose no progress whilst trying to avoid the spot the next time.

On other notes, the games multiplayer is also, by what I've seen so far a very diverse experience, from co-operating with other people to invading them and instead, attempting to make their game worse whilst improving your own so to say.

I'd rate Dark Souls as one of the hardest games I've played in a while though, that definitely. I have died so many deaths from being stupid and dodging too early, or too late, and thus getting the full blow of an enemy's attack which then either staggers me, takes half my health, both of them, or simply instakills me because I play a very squishy build.

But all in all I can say, the game looks pretty, it plays well, even without a controller ( unlike the first, I tried it but I couldn't continue) , has AMAZINGLY rewarding combat in my opinion.

The only negative I find in it is Soul Memory, really, due to how it can mess up matching in PvP.

This damn game. I really love the way strategy does end up playing out in this game, especially in skirmishes, you may know other games, like for example.. Hm.

StarCraft 2 or Command and Conquer, average rounds are 20 minutes and 5 or a bit more.

Now here's the thing, a round in Supreme Commander can take three hours , even. Three hours of attrition, requiring your focus and requiring everything , the game has its balance, it has its counters and if you compose your army well, you can break through the enemy's defence, take out their core components and then, if you're able to, you can go ahead and nuke their supply lines basically, the game builds up on an economy system where you don't pay-before-you-build but it's more of a pay-as-you-go system, which means you can have an economical flaw.

Also, did I say it has nukes?
