One of the best Games ever been made definitly. Too sad that Rockstar/Social Club hasn't the best security settings and not the best customer Service. Not getting to my Account again :( make sure you log in often in your Account for avoiding losing the own Accounts. :(

What can I say - selled some skins I didnt like, needed it for some games, works great in Games. No problems :)
Not much of a big settings-tester - blue big mouse (useful for bloons td6 as example), press play - works automatically with the games i play it with.
Good programming!

Risen is one of the greatest RPG-Singleplayer Games I've ever played so far. It's worth it's 10€. It has some bugs and the camera also the control is sometimes buggy but if you aren't that much of a perfectionist you're spending your Euros on the right place by buying this game.

9/10 Points.

Update from 23/03/11 =

The Big announced Update which THQ Nordic made up this Year was a good seemed, light on the Horizon. Besides Bug-Fixes, they announced a FOV-System. But the big major-market-move was ofc the availability for the newer Consoles as Xbox Series X, PS4 & Nintendo Switch. - Well to be honest with you guys I feel kinda badly for this trick. I really thought I would be an newer and more ultimate feeling for Risen 1 which is one of my most favorite games of all times. But in the end...

After I started the game I instantly had my first bug, and heared from windows that an Error as occured while I was starting. Too sad that I cant see whats wrong, when the Screen is complete black and my Mouse is hidden "in the black void". A few days and trials'n'errors, later I was lucky that I had a second Monitor, and found out that the "Error" is not an error per se - it's just a question if I wanna play in PC or in Console Version. Well dafuq? Why am I supposed to play on a PC, if you ask me if you wanna play on Console or PC... ...well ofc I wanna play PC maybe?!?!?!?

After answering this strange Question from the Game, I was happy to see that the "Piranha Bytes" Logo showed up. But they didn't show that this game was an MADE OVER IN 2023 FROM THQ NORDIC. Bc before you read on you definitily have to know that Piranha Bytes (PB) brought the game in 2009 out. Ofc in the re-release state it had a few bugs but PB worked hard and without profite to make their game bug-free which also leaded so my first comment which you can read in the very first Line.

Been brought from the Deep Silver & PB Logo, to the Main Menu I couldn't see a so called "make over/remaster" from the game - no I saw a horrible edited and changed Writing-Design. Not only that the Letters isn't even filling one of the Buttons in the Main-Menu, no I can absolutely see NO CHANGE in the graphics. Ah too sad that they announced better graphics - they made it worse!!! Second Dafuq in starting time.

The Third Dafuq comes with the sound. I can see a very story-relevant and brainstorming Man. BUT WHERE IS THE SOUND?!?! Checking in the Options Menu which showed me the Sound was already at standard settings I was like: "How am I supposed to feel the story if I can't even listen to ♥♥♥♥? How can I hear that I was detected or in a fight, when there is no music to clearly listen to?" - The Solution is that with every start of the game, the Windows-Setting of Sounds for Risen 1 is defaulty in the lowest state of beeing, which is pure non-sense to me. I am wondering if THQ even understand what they did so far. So it's the Dafuq #3!

After the first week of "No! I won't touch this ♥♥♥♥ anymore", i decided to give it a try again. I had my solutions and I thought it was ridicoulus to be so quick-judging by a bad programming. Maybe the gaming itself would be brilliant as it always was and also I wanted the achievements which they luckily made up. - Well it was a horrible Idea: I found out that every save game is lost. LIKE EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SAVE GAME. I can understand under strange sircumstances that the old saves where I have "Super-Man-Character" have to be taken appart from the active Steam-Achievement-Arrivings. But its probably the worst marketing Idea to don't even look at the ♥♥♥♥ you've done to us. I know that with the update many users posted to solutions to bring the Savegames back. But it's too sadly when you ain't one of these guys which could make their right desicions. A double-dafuq for this stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ marketing move - when you try to "repair" something which is already running fine YOU MUST (you're freaking responsible for the ♥♥♥♥ you've been doing so far!!!) check that the game is running fine. So dafuq #3 to dafuq #5!

---------SPOILER ALERT: THE FOLLOWED COMMENT MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. READING ON IN YOUR OWN DANGER !!!--------

After starting the game, leveling a little bit around I found out that while sneaking, fighting, looking in inventory (in fact, when pressing two buttons at the same time [menu + movement to pure exactly :P]) you cannot move left or backwards + Left AND Backwards. Like did you really even look at the ♥♥♥♥ you've been trying to re-release? How am I supposed to sneak around guys like Don, Mendoza or other Treasure-Holders, IF THE FREAKING GAME CONTROL JUST DONT LET ME HAPPEN. Another double dafuq for this one - you are responsible for the fact that by the controlls you filled in your game and our memories are destroyed and trumbled down by major-marketing moves. I just cannot see how it is even possible that THQ Nordic cannot see this reality. So once again: Dafuq #5 to Dafuq #7!!!

The brought up a feature which I was talking a while ago which is called "FOV-Settings" while, most gamers already know what I am talking about, you have to know that the Field of View (which you can settle as you wish) can be important to locate Enemys, Treasures and other hidden things (Plants, Rings or even Amuletts) which is needed to feel a little bit more and more stronger. Aah well and to look at the amazing old-settled graphics which never changed as promised. Kinda also happy to see that the gameplay-graphics are still the same, it brings up so many childhood-memories... ahhh it feels great. Ah well... too sad that the FOV-Changer is just too bugged: Jumping Sights of FOV & the FOV-rate always like ALWAYS try to jump no matter which interaction I find myself in. So why even bring such an option if you cannot even use it, the way the original Idea was made up to (like in MW3 - good old times of cod...)?!?!?! Another Dafuq for THQ Nordic, the 8# one this time.

And probably one of the biggest tricks and ♥♥♥♥ abouts out of this game from THQ Nordic: the Translator Option - don't be that Quick, I do understand that it's useful and working fine so far I fully agree with this one.
But If you already bring and think on out of this argument, I sadly have to tell you: you don't know ♥♥♥♥ about Steam, your Library and the Options which Valve gives for the game.
Why you've been asking? There you go:
Right Click on any game of your's -> Look in the Options of the Game -> see the Selection "Language" where you already - even in 2009 - can change the Language as many times as you wish! (Note: some games as MW2 (2009 Version) cannot change Language due some Law-Orders in your Country. If you don't know: Airport Mission, German/US-Version Difference I'm talking as example about)
To me it's another Dafuq Point (#9) from THQ Nordic. Do you even know Valve? Ever heared of Steam? I'm not a programmer, but sure it's not that complex to give a hint how to change the language originally. Thx for this fake innovation!

Which leads me to the Point which I was intended to make in final form:
As you can see I made a big rage comment about the new so called "Remaster/Update/Make Over". But what is Save-Game-Losing, Control-Losing & Bug-Stuffing, when you have the option (also via Steam-Game Options, pls look around in Betas to enjoy the solution)... when you have the option to start the Risen 2009 Version?
Yes! I am serious! You can start Risen in the 2009 Version... too sad it's not the original Version before the Desaster of 2023 THQ Nordic - bc the save games from old times are still lost. The Controls at least are normal and also some stupid settings are deactives such as the FOV-Changer. The Letters are "Risen-Like" filled and fine looking.
But no one from THQ-Nordic told about this option. NO ONE felt responsible to tell that?!
Dafuq #10

Conclusion: BRING US THE ORIGINAL PB-MADE RISEN BACK! STOP THE MARKET FROM DESTROYING GAME-GEMS LIKE RISEN OR OTHERS! AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST!: CHECK YOUR GAME!!!!

Another new-age Call of Duty, this time it's Black Ops II. In the end I'll show you my Pointings and why I would say if this is a must-have or it isn't the money worth it.

The Campaign:
The Campaign of Call of Duty: Black Ops II is very ... interesting. It's the first Call of Duty game which goes to the future and it isn't so bad made. I love the fact that you can choose your weapon in every Weapon and which Perks you use. It's been a long time ago I played this game but i'm sure not only Perk and Weapon is changeable. In no Call of Duty before was this possible before so every Ego-Shooter Singleplayer could do the same of that. The Missions are very different from the Actions but it's sad that everything is just about shooting around. For people who love story (like me) is this Game absolutly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because the story is very unimportant and non-dramatic. If you really wanna put the player into the Campaign or Missions you have to make more missions with a very more logic story. One interesting point in the Story is you can change the story sometimes by your actions. As example: you have to follow a Guy who's trying to escape. If you're fast and don't waste your time on enemys you can get him, but if you waste too much time he will escape automaticlly. It's a good potencial point but still unused by (sad to say) nearly everybody in the Game Industry, but I'm drifting away. Close to the end there will be a point where you can see your actions at one point. The kind of delievery behind the game (if there is one and I'm not fantasing it now) is that one man, one soldier of thousand of others can change the world completly. Ok it's just a video game and 99% of us won't come to a world-changing experience but don't forget that a card house can just be build when no Card is missing. Now we come to the point where Treyarch had one of the biggest potencial points which was used only a bit. There are (4 or 5 i'm not sure how many) Missions which are mixed with strategy. I know a new-generation Shooter like Call of Duty and strategy sounds like a good joke but I'm not kidding! You see from above where enemys are coming and you have control of 4 Squads & Robotics. You can move those units to any position you want and you can even control them! It has so great potencial but well... ...let's hope somebody will get ideas from that! They hit a gold mine but didn't grab the gold. Watch some Videos in Youtube and you'll see what I mean. The graphics are (just as usual) always in the Singleplayer better than in Multiplayer or in Zombies. The Controls are as usual great, just look at it to see if there is anything you don't want to press and then start your Experience. The music is... ok. The Main Menu music is very depressive made and can even make you feel lonely if you hear it for way too long. Who loves Electronic Music/Dubstep will enjoy the music in Black Ops II. Me not :P
I'll give for the unused potencial, the bad Graphics in the release year, the very bad Campaign (to less missions, no emotions and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story), but still good gameplay and good control 4 out of 10 points.

Well it's a very old and classic game. If you wanna play a standard Call of Duty give it a try but don't hope so much. The money is worth it. The Singleplayer can be sometimes annoying and if you want something new don't bet too much. The Mission ways are sometimes not the same, as example you are going as a unimportant US Rangers Soldier in a open war and sometimes you go as the English Solider Cpt.MacTavish, in Russian Military Zones to do your stealth tricks. The Multiplayer is a little bit complicated to start, but with help from the Internet you can get it very fast. The Maps are old nostalgic Call of Duty style, the younger Generations will never know any of them, sadly. The Graphics are for the time were it was released very great but for now you cannot await something of it. If you love old Call of Duty then this game should be in your storage. But don't forget to do not buy it only for the Singleplayer, that is a very important thing! Control of the game is great, you should look if every Key is in the right position for you but everything else is great!

Graphics: 7/10
Controls: 9/10
Gameplay: 6/10 (without Nostalgic Flavor, with the Nostalgic Flavor 10/10)
