Reasonable sequel for payday 2, though a bit lacking on content. The game is not just finish-able but also 100%-able in about 40-50 hours. Definitely worth it to pick up on sale to see the new mechanics Overkill have come up with, though if you want a content-filled game like payday 2 give it 3-5 years.

Great game, very fun and has a lot of content, regardless if you are going for 100% or not.
The progression is fair.
The bosses are generally more difficult than you might expect, the game expects you to fail and learn better strategies for some of the boss fights.
Do no play Whoa! solo, you will have a bad time.
Complete some Mix.rs to have an idea what to expect in the final defense mission.

The mechanics and gameplay are good. The coop is buggy. The "story" feels weak. The game has potential but maybe wait for final release.

Fun with friends, questionable with randoms.

Exceedingly good game in all aspects. Bonus points if playing coop.

The game is much MUCH more fun than the dlcs.

Very fun, especially with friends. Good story and lots of content. Almost at 70 hrs and still haven't finished everything the game has to offer.

Overall recommended, though if you were not super into FC5, I would wait for a sale. 100% worth 20 Euros, for example. The RPG elements are noticeable, but can be turned off in menus / overlooked. It plays like any other farcry game. Lastly, I took about 26 hrs to 100% this game, maybe about 12 hrs of what I consider "story" (main and side missions).

Overall 7.5/10 for a FC game.
