I've run both Crysis and Crysis Remastered on laptop and PC. Crysis is just better. The colors don't look washed out, you can mod it and on a mid-tier PC (laptop in this instance) Crysis Remastered is actually unplayable because the graphics look horrendous. With the same PC you can run Crysis on max settings. Sensitivity settings, however, are bad on both and worse on the original.

On Steam you can get original Crysis when buying together with Warhead.

7h in one sitting - so far so good. Will log on again. However, building logic is very unintuitive at times. Trying to figure out the kinks on our own is almost impossible so we just kept bashing our heads against the wall playing together. Stupid errors left and right that wouldn't allow certain things that should be possible. Sometimes we went to do some other thing and come back to finish that thing we couldn't do before because it didn't snap on before. And other times it was wrong from ground up so yeah, user errors happened as well. We thought we figured something out so we tried to do a test 1x1x1 cube from ground up and ended up still running into a problem despite using full log measurements.

It's good. It's beautiful. It's challenging. It's an adventure. And in the end successes are rewarding. Play it without a guide.

I'm playing it and other people are playing it in 2021. It would be unwise to give this game a pass but mind you the learning curve is noticeable and some of us have been playing for over 10 hours. Welcome, NeoTokyo Fridays are still a thing.
