As good as when I first played it. Actually good game design 99% of the time which compared to today is insane. Some bugs, and UI issues from patches I'm assuming but nothing too bad. Best Lara character model in the series as well. 100% in a little over 13 hours, short and sweet, not overly convoluted. On to Rise now

Before going more in depth, the TL;DR is that this game is AMAZING and EVERYONE and their MAMA needs to play it. Spoiler free BTW
The main mechanic of the game is using your camera to track your eyes, and use your blinks as the input for the game, brilliant in so many ways. Innovative, fits immaculately with the theming and story, and is an absolute cheese strat to making you tear up because your eyes are perma staring for the whole game already. And I don't care how it goes about it, this game was 99% there to making me tear up and that is saying something.
Golly gee this is such a personal, compelling story, that, in some way or another, due to the fact it forces you to deal with mortality and how you spend your time in this life, from a first person POV. The story is an absolute BANGER with a PENG plot twist. The voice acting for some characters can be a tiny bit stiff but overall great performances. This game, I don't know how, does a direct injection of emotion in a way almost no game can.
The ending song: Mesh by Ollie Lewin, is an AB-SO-LUTE BANGER and made me borderline tear up when I heard it for weeks after I finished the game, and to this day I still get some emotion out of it.

The art is Great, an awesome style that can feel whimsical at times, but has the ability to stay grounded and really reach at those darker parts of the story when it needs to.

At the end, I was indeed, Smiling.

The story is great, and James Faulkner's Performance as TOM makes it feel all the more engaging. It's goes just deep enough to get you thinking, but doesn't really force a belief onto you, just leaves you with it to think about on your own. The back and forth between Ava and TOM can get a bit overt and contrarian at certain times, but it never gets to a point where it's genuinely effecting the storytelling. The plot twists and little reveals are great as well.
The mechanics are simple, so it's very hard to mess up, and that expectation is lived up to. The puzzles are the perfect level of difficulty where they get you thinking, but you aren't ever usually stuck on a level for ages (which is just frustrating and can distract from the story). They feel hard enough to be rewarding, but not so hard they detract from any other aspect

The secret levels offer that great level of added "difficulty" and really push that "Turing Test" feel where you have to employ that lateral thinking. Like that bridge room where you essentially "cheese" the game, but it's intended to be that way.

One small preference I would have would be that instead of each section of levels having a theme and essentially restarting the difficulty and ramping up the difficulty, it compounds throughout the game more consistently.

It doesn't overstay it's welcome, it's not a 100 hours crazy long game, it short and sweet, and satisfying. The easter eggs sprinkled absolutely everywhere and little lore or thought pieces show the creators really put passion into this game.

The game also LOOKS AMAZING even by today's standards.

All in all, would HIGHLY recommend to anyone.

Fun little game, can also be good for just turning brain off and mashing out while listening to music or other stuff. Decent amounts of depth, gameplay isn't exactly riveting but you get what is advertised, and It's a B-List modern classic.

Very much do not like unfortunately. It is free so no harm no foul, but the menus are slow clunky and have unnecessary long cut scenes between certain menus. Aside from mechanical issues, the menus are also visually unappealing. Minor note but FOV starts off ABSURDLY low, borderline motion sickness inducing. Many soft lock instances, Controller compatibility issues when first setting up. Not for me, maybe for you, but def not for me.

Decently Fun, Infinitely better than CSGO because it doesn't look like hot ass from 1963 so i can actually play the game now. Grenade physics suck Valve fix yo shi
Players are cringe many a time, more than Valorant, but also toxic as well so you get the worst of both worlds.

Non-Comp servers are more dead than a... something that is very dead, impossible to find more than a singular server
Still novel for me, when it wear off I don't know but for now it's decently fun. Only $15 which is robbery still for the mess it is in terms of matchmaking but its $15 soooooooooooo (Valorant is actually free)

Fun little short game, physics are pretty annoying at times and unless you wait for everything to 100% settle before moving on you can get screwed by RNG, the achievements are cute tho.
