Just finished it and it was a good time. The story was a definite improvement over It Takes Two, didn't feel nearly as preachy even if cliche. The gameplay was fun, the environments beatiful and the soundtrack great. I do have two minor gripes with the game, however:
1) some of the puzzles require either very tight input timing or are slightly obscure;
2) the sci-fi worlds feel a little more bland and empty as opposed to the fantasy ones.

But taste is subjective, so don't let it hold you back. Especially since you need only one copy to play together with someone which is a great bargain even without a sale.

It's a game from 2009 and it shows, but not in a charming way. It's genuinely infuriating to play. Anything with a potential to be fun, like the glaive throwing, is just downright annoying to do and whenever you have anything resembling a puzzle, the game just starts throwing endlessly spawning enemies with you until you finish it.
And it just looks boring. There's also hardly any color, everything is just grey.

One of the better shooters I've ever played. The focus on sounds is a perfect idea, but beware that it might make you paranoid when hearing any sounds.
Some downsides involve Dev decisions about UI redesign and some of the skins and weapons where everything becomes homogenized as every one is using the same weapon and skin which in return makes the game a little dull.
I have seen some cheaters, but nothing eggregious, but I also don't play in high skill lobbies as I'm barely average at the game myself.

This game is barely worth it even on a 90% discount.

- Story makes no sense at all;
- Movement is janky and slow;
- Gunplay is just terrible and you can forget about stealthy bow and arrows headshots. Every enemy has more armor on their head than a WW2 tank to the point where even a maxed out rifle can't one-shot those;
- The DLC content is arduous at best and the items you get from the get-go are just overpowered;

All in all it has none of the charm the first of the reboot games had and none of the polish the second one did. It's a jumbled mess that only has graphical fidelity going for it.

Tell me, Sony, are "local laws" also not allowing you to sell this game on Steam? Or will you for another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuse to not be available in the Baltics and other countries?

Great setting and voice acting let down entirely by the gameplay.

Just play C&C 3. You'll have a far better time with that.

Game is very slow with far too much backtracking in levels. It also feels very dead and empty, even though the enviornment structure is very similar to that of Portal 2.
Mechanics are spread out all over the place, so you never really get many diverse puzzles. In the whole two hours of playing I saw one, maybe two times where you have to combine mechanics. Granted, as of time of writing this, I have only gotten to underground section of the game , but I have no willingness to play any more of the game as it just feels like a slog to play through.
In short, this mod has next to none of the charm that Portal 1 and 2 has.

Overall the game is fine. Looks good, plays good, sounds good. But be vary that the Xen part of the game is dragged out way too much. It's beatiful to look at at the beginning, but soon after it just gets repetitive and downright boring.
With that being said, it's hard not to recommend the game at that price. It's still a good experience and well worth your time.

Unless you can get it on sale, I wouldn't really recommend it.
The story is quite uninteresting and feels wholly unfinished, gameplay outside of boss fights is exactly what you get - type a word to either damage an enemy, gather a resource (health/ mana) or traverse the obstacles, puzzles can be quite janky at times and act 3 can get bug prone due to either bosses not working correctly or just getting stuck in places from sprinting. The map is also godawful. And difficuly also seems to be all over the place. There "is" an option to turn on adaptive difficulty, but thoughout the whole game, even at the start, it would just excessively long words to type even for the weakest enemies and then straight aftrer just a three letter word.

Honestly, I dunno if I'm misremembering something, but Epistory did this type of game way better while being very similar.
