Well, this is a game with many imperfections. it is great, don't get me wrong, but there are many drawbacks...

It being a rockstar game, automatically feels like you should be able to F sh!t up and have fun however you want, but guess what, you can't do that here... Law mechanic although interesting, is very poorly designed and doesn't make this game fun at all. escaping from a chase is fun first 5 times, then it gets boring to the point when you want to shoot them all down, leave no witnesses but guess what... you have 100000 bounty to pay.... there is much more to say about this bad implementation but I'll leave it there.

another annoying thing is probably controls... Horse, the thing which you spend the most time with, has finiky controls. sometimes barely responsive and will definitely buck you off on a tiniest rock if it detects a misinput. other non-horse oriented games did much better job at keeping the horse mechanics simple and enjoyable. speaking of horses, hostling your guns is at times down right illogical.. there has been so many situations when I wanted to use a specific gun, which I allegedly had equipped, but after getting off the horse character just returned it. gunplay itself is basic, enjoyable but annoying mechanics when trying to quickdraw.

but there are far more positive factors than the negatives for me to put 100 hours in the story and enjoy almost every single second of it. Arthur morgan is one of the greatest characters not only in gaming but in the world. seeing his metamorphosis feels like spending time with a real person. him alone could carry this game like a champ.

Booted up a game to finally experience centered crosshair, got lost in the menu UI, couldn't find any guns, hunters, progression, etc. absolute dumpster fire.

Not much to say, Nemesis System which this game presents is man kinds one of the greatest achievements. Combat mechanics are very good and at times unforgiving, random acts by orcs and captains make every battle its own story. Very addictive and captivating, especially for those who loves Tolkien's Legendarium.

Well, initially, it was not a bad game; quite wonderful and unique in its way. The story was nice, also captivating, emotions were there. There are many approaches to the puzzles, which I liked; though, the puzzles themselves weren't that difficult.
The only thing that I really disliked, was the playtime... the game can be finished in 5 hours (including all the side exploring) and that was disappointing though, expected.
All in all, decent game, give it a shot if you enjoy chilled gameplay here and there...

All in all, pretty decent experience, even though, there were some annoying aspects of the game. Characters are somewhat developed, which I can appreciate to some degree. "Gunplay" I really liked, maybe because I am a big fan of bows, so yeah, that may explain why I had so much fun in that field.

The story is captivating and a bit addictive I shall say, most of the time when I play open world games I do it proportionally - half story, half side quest and exploring. Though this game was an exception, main story got me hooked up so much I had to follow it till the end without completing many of the side quest.

Side quest themselves are trivial open world stuff... Go there, track this, save this, collect this; etc. etc. you get the point.

Graphics are nice, as well as setting, though I'd like a better optimization.

In brief 8/10 game.

What's left to say about this game that hadn't been said already? This is a great example how an open world game should be made with great characters, story, mechanics and side quests. I only hope the next Witcher game will be at least as good as this one.

If you are Hard core fan of Great story lines and stuff like that... well you came to the wrong place
But if only thing you want is to have FUN well get your A$$ in this game and enjoy as it provides everything to have fun...

So, I really don't know where to begin; let it be the graphics and visuals... GORGEOUS! Even on lower settings you can have a nice experience, though, medium-high is much recommended. I don't think there is anything hard to notice that visuals are great. I'll mention that guns felt nice and rewarding, having to use special ammo is also something I welcome. Attachments and paintings were better than ever! though, I couldn't feel that badass feeling of having signature weapons like in FC3 & 4, but there were FC5 version signature stuff.
Hunting was a similar to other far cries, yet very different as you don't need their hide to craft stuff, with which I can have Love-Hate relationship. Fishing element was indeed a good touch, but if you make me fish just for money when there are so many other ways to get cash, I won't invest that much time.
Now the story, I know many will disagree but this game's story was by far the best one so far (even though, all the Far Cry titles had great stories). Many will blindly say that FC3 had the best line, but this is very loud to say... I could write a book why that game is overrated, but I'm here for Far Cry 5; so yeah, the story, its flow and connection to religion was main thing I liked, characters were impactful and had a sign of a real powerful figures, though it could have been much better, had the developers included speech for the main character, which is my biggest complain, it completely takes me out of immersion and makes me want to skip all the dialogs, though, I can swallow it. The story is also long and you have more free room than ever, you're not forced into some absurd dialogs and situations like Far Cry 3. And also the secondary quests make more sense too! The variety of this last was great, and respectable, almost every side-mission had its own tone and story which I enjoyed a lot.
Next thing I can safely say was great, is CO-OP, that sh*t was fkin' awesome! it allows you to do everything you might have wanted to do in Open World game like Far Cry is. Huge, Huge upgrade from previous titles. although, the actual multiplayer was very bad, and not enjoyable, mainly because of the cheaters and lack of motivation and progression, but I don't play FC for such things.
In brief, this is a game if you enjoy going with/creating own flow of the game, with a friend it can be 10 times more enjoyable, so it's greatly recommended; it has some downsides as well, but at the most parts it proves to be worthy of calling it the best Far Cry game! I hope the next title (Far Cry 6) will at least match aesthetics of this game, if not improve!

i dont know what i should say. i have ended this game for 3 times (pirate version), then i decided to buy that.
repeting: i dont know that i should say, this is just peace of the art of gaming industry, this is just imortal game. everytime i went to end i always chilling. i am not gonna speak about graphics, cus its just amazing'.
and what about gameplay and story. nah, its just perfect, i cant reject this game, cus following reasons:
1. the best characters i'ave ever seen, for example Lara Croft, she's just bravest, prettiest, cleverest and most deicisive person. and she's charactorise..............
2. story is just perfect and slightly realistic.
3. if you love history (subject) and old miths, that game is just perfect.
i'ave lots of to say but i have no words.
