So, I really don't know where to begin; let it be the graphics and visuals... GORGEOUS! Even on lower settings you can have a nice experience, though, medium-high is much recommended. I don't think there is anything hard to notice that visuals are great. I'll mention that guns felt nice and rewarding, having to use special ammo is also something I welcome. Attachments and paintings were better than ever! though, I couldn't feel that badass feeling of having signature weapons like in FC3 & 4, but there were FC5 version signature stuff.
Hunting was a similar to other far cries, yet very different as you don't need their hide to craft stuff, with which I can have Love-Hate relationship. Fishing element was indeed a good touch, but if you make me fish just for money when there are so many other ways to get cash, I won't invest that much time.
Now the story, I know many will disagree but this game's story was by far the best one so far (even though, all the Far Cry titles had great stories). Many will blindly say that FC3 had the best line, but this is very loud to say... I could write a book why that game is overrated, but I'm here for Far Cry 5; so yeah, the story, its flow and connection to religion was main thing I liked, characters were impactful and had a sign of a real powerful figures, though it could have been much better, had the developers included speech for the main character, which is my biggest complain, it completely takes me out of immersion and makes me want to skip all the dialogs, though, I can swallow it. The story is also long and you have more free room than ever, you're not forced into some absurd dialogs and situations like Far Cry 3. And also the secondary quests make more sense too! The variety of this last was great, and respectable, almost every side-mission had its own tone and story which I enjoyed a lot.
Next thing I can safely say was great, is CO-OP, that sh*t was fkin' awesome! it allows you to do everything you might have wanted to do in Open World game like Far Cry is. Huge, Huge upgrade from previous titles. although, the actual multiplayer was very bad, and not enjoyable, mainly because of the cheaters and lack of motivation and progression, but I don't play FC for such things.
In brief, this is a game if you enjoy going with/creating own flow of the game, with a friend it can be 10 times more enjoyable, so it's greatly recommended; it has some downsides as well, but at the most parts it proves to be worthy of calling it the best Far Cry game! I hope the next title (Far Cry 6) will at least match aesthetics of this game, if not improve!
