Great game with great developers! New free updates regularly in form of leagues, and with bug fixes in between. They also listen to the community. There are micro transactions, but they are completely cosmetic with exceptions to more stash storage, which definitely does help (Map and currency stashes specifically, premium tabs for trading too), but can be played without those.

Building a character can be a pain for new players, respecs are a bit pricy, skills are made in form of gems that you put on items instead of specific skills for classes, and the skill tree is huge with small but increasing stats. What I recommend is finding a decent build on the forums and following that, league starters are great for beginners.

The less than average port is definitely a con, but the fantastic gameplay more than makes up for the port for me. However, for people with older computers or that can't tolerate low framerates, this might not be the case.

Most of the game is a grind, but they made grinding fun.
The movement is fantastic.

Due to the Cease and Desist order on OpenIV made by Take Two Interactive, effectively killing the modding scene for singleplayer GTA V, just because they want more people to play multiplayer and spend money on their microtransactions, I feel the need to give this a negative review so they change their mind.

I hope Take Two or Rockstar notices how this will hurt the community and cease their actions to suck money from the people who supported this game. This is already one of the best selling games made, released on 5 platforms. They've already cancelled the Singeplayer DLC's that were promised, and now they are removing the singleplayer mods just so people play online and pay for the "Shark Cash Cards" because the rate at which you earn money is way too low.
