If you really like building Gundam models, this is a close to 10/10 game, otherwise, pass.

The story is 3/10, pretty bare bones, lame villain, simple sidekicks, just a vehicle for enjoying the building aspect and punch and shoot. I adored seeing my weird robots trying to emote in scenes, being half out of frame or obscuring shots.

Easy game play which works well for a style of constantly trying to new builds, harder modes are just "Higher level, more hp."

Armored Core 6 is a better game overall and you should probably get it first (unless you don't like Fromsoft difficulty) but this is a fine easy going alternative with kinda-more customization options.

Very beautiful point and click game, if you're into the style of art it'll be enjoyable enough if you just kind of stop and look at the scenery.

Not a particularly complex story and difficulty is low with simple puzzles. Fortunately it evades any of the annoyance that sometimes comes with point and clicks by just being straightforward.

If you don't dig the art style, skip it, there's probably nothing in it for you.
Otherwise, if you'd pay for a nice art book for the price of this, consider getting it.

Game is a little too grindy, if you're the type like me that can fall into a grindy trap, be a little careful even if I do enjoy it.

Is great for fulfilling that need of the type of game where you and your opponents are pulling from the same pool of abilities (all your monsters are the same things as what you encounter) but you go and try to make as ridiculous and broken of combos as possible. (For example when I read an update it sounded like they had to fix an infinite-combo that could cause your game to be, well, stuck in an infinite combo and force you to restart.) I think ideally you should be winning fights where the monsters are -significantly- higher in level once you get your party going.

Recommendation:

If you aren't big on trying to abuse the mechanics of a game and just want something straightforward where anything you use will just work, then you're probably going to be spending a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ more grinding in which case I'd say DON'T get this game.

If you want to play 'haha when I combine X with Y and Z plus W, all I have to do is press two buttons and I win every fight' then this is more for you. If you can stomach a bit of grinding.

Decent enough, fairly entertaining as long as you play it in roguelike style and don't keep saving and loading to get through everything and instead just accept death as it comes. Also it is better than the ultra weeaboo look lets on. $10 price tag seems a bit much for it not seeming to have a whole lot of content to the game (Though with decent replayability) but if you can get it on sale for $5 or less I'd say its worth it.
