I first played this game right when it came out and a friend was kind enough to give me a DRM-free copy from GOG on a flashdrive. I played it for about ten hours and immediately deleted the entire game. except for...

Why? Because I felt like a dirty poo stain playing the game without supporting the devs.

I then immediately payed full price and kept going. and then I stopped.

The past few years I've been playing this game slowly. Enjoying it. Taking time off, only to come back 6 months later and be amazed again at how in-depth and complex this world is. It's truly refreshing. This level of quality in world building is untouched and you won't find it anywhere else. Far more so than anything like GTA 5 or even rdr2. (And it runs better too). This IS the best open world game of. all. time.

The only reason some of my friends have not played it is because they're afraid of starting something they can't put down.

I'm fine with waiting 10 more months until CyberPunk because I have a lot of things to see and do in the past before I experience the future.

And hell, I really don't even like fantasy games but the Witcher is just the perfect balance between the real world and make believe.

The camera hasn't improved one bit since the last game. If anything its gotten worse. It's easily the worst camera I've ever had to deal with in a video game. But if you don't have the first one and want to drive a truck in the mud then this game does that. Nothing else really.

cool game to chill in and go eat some energy bars while making friends with deer. But then a wolf jumps out and insta kills both of you. Then you sit there like, dafuq just happened. Great Game, story mode gonna be sweet with the big bad wolf
