This game scratches the right itch. The soundtrack is bright, the arcade controls feel amazing and polished and the racetracks are awesome. You get quickly into the flow of the game. Flying out of cornes or straight outta the map because you build up too much speed just makes me laugh. It looks so goofy! Good thing you can reset to the last checkpoint by pressing Y.

Day 1 Player. I remember playing it on my GTX 1070 on low - medium settings, enjoying every second of it. The game never felt as buggy as people said but I've seen videos of game breaking bugs back then and figured I was very lucky for stumbling on only one in my first ever playthrough. Exploding bottles, glitching npcs and cars suddenly launching in the air were there but rarely noticably or funny as hell. You can't deny that the game was unpolished in the beginning but update after update brought more content and after update 2.0 the game felt more finished than ever. Let it be said that since upgrading to my rtx 4080 I've experienced way more crashes and I am still not 100 % sure where they come from (altough playing on everything maxed out might not be the greatest idea :D) but nevertheless the immersion is immense and I really enjoy the worldbuilding. A lot of the "choices" the game gives you are often just an illusion and seem pointless, especially when some dialog options turn out differently than they're saying. There's a lot of hidden lore around Night City and sometimes reading messages reveal a lot of connections between the scenarios happening in missions and outside of them. It's intriguing how this game gives a homely feeling altough the narrative is nothing but depressing. Night City is something else and I have enjoyed every second I've put into this game (so far). Let the sequel be even greater! Overall a solid 9/10 game in my books.

Won't start anymore since 21st of September 2024. After troubleshooting every aspect (Drivers, reinstall, uninstalled certains programs, reconnecting input devices etc.) the game simply crashes as soon as an input from my mouse / keyboard is registered. Installed and reinstalled it on 2 different M.2 SSDs. Specs: Ryzen 7 7700X, RTX 4080, 32 GB DDR5 RAM.

Quite a unique game with a simple construct: Gather materials, explore the world, craft and upgrade equipment and watch the planet around you transform from a deserted rock to a planet full of flora and life. The early game can seem boring at first due to intense grinding but after a couple of hours and the first terraforming progress the world opens up a bit more, progress becomes apparant and new materials / equipment become available. During the mid / endgame you can almost fully automate the whole material gathering and crafting. The building menu could use some more options e. g. more snapping option, building underground and a terraforming tool to flaten the terrain is dearly missed. There are a few bugs here and there like visible holes in the terrain where you can see the void or lower framerates if you've got a lot of trees, animals, insects and machines running in a small area at once but it's managable. Sometimes you might get stuck but you can unstuck yourself by pressing F4 (sometimes spamming it helps aswell). Definitly recommend this game to anyone who wants to have a chill survival game experience.

The atmosphere in this game is amazing and the story build up was great. Playtime was around 3 hours but there's also a free roam and an audio guided mode.

It's getting annoying that a lot of publishers release unfinished / unpolished games. At first I was quite shocked reading about the performance issues days before the release but nevertheless I tried it out and they were right: The game is unenjoyable. Low FPS (I'm playing on a Ryzen 7 7700X, 32 GB RAM and an RTX 4080), Frame Skipping appearing out of nowhere while playing and don't get me started with some rendering issues when viewing stuff close up and zooming out. I don't have these problem playing e. g. AAA titles games from this year. I had to refund the game because I can't support the current state of Cities Skylines 2.

Current cheating situation makes this game insufferable. Current ban waves are not enough. The recent exploit were you were able to kill a whole lobby with a press of a button seemed to just have increased the amount of cheats being offered for this game.
