I started playing games with my 4 year old son last year and it became quickly apparent that Lego games were ideal for their mix of problem solving, accessibility, and easy-to-grasp concepts. It’s also great to play co-op for a bit of father & son time.

The reason I’d recommend Marvel Super Heroes above any of the others is that it’s the best we’ve played so far, and it’s so DEEP. There’s so much for him to do. We finished the story months ago but he still likes roaming around the city finding stuff. Whenever he finds a new gold brick he gets particularly excited.

Given how easy it could be to bin this off and start something new, I like that he’s persisting with it to find new things.

It’s a good game solo. It’s a great game to play with your kids.
