This game crosses lines I havent seen crossed in games before, and I just wanna thank the devs for letting us experience this trauma with friends.

If you like games with rich and deep atmospheres, then you'll love this game. Im constantly finding myself stopping to just take in the bleak beauty of the Chernobyl exclusion Zone. As for combat, every gun fight feels cinematic and tense. I recommend playing on the hardest difficulty, just to make the game more immersive and unforgiving.

If you are someone who's unaffected by modern media brain rot, you'll love this game. It's hardcore relative to your normal FPS, is historically accurate, and enforces team play. The devs clearly know where they're going with the game, and set rules for themselves; which most modern games don't do.

Again, shout out to the Dev team for making an actual good shooter in a ocean of generic Fortnite & overwatch imitators.

As someone who's been a life long fan of the horror genre, I've been desensitized to most horror media including games. For the most part I endugle in it for the entertainment value as I know it most likely won't scare me.

Starting up the game I decided to set the difficulty to hard (because what's the point of survival horror if it's forgiving) and I can safety say this game is terrifying. It made me feel afraid again; a game hasn't done that since I was a kid. I can also say as someone who's hid from people in abandoned buildings irl (on more than one occasion lol), it gives a very similar adrenaline high if your into that sort of thing lol.

Why do I need to install the Rock star launcher, and log into it for a single player game from 2012...

This game rocks. One of the few horror games i've played that actually has a story; it had me hooked from the start. That being said, release Alan Wake 2 on steam because i'm not downloading Epic Game Launcher for a single game lol

Amazing soundtrack, and fun game. I wouldn't get this expecting something like Tony Hawks Underground, its more in line to the period of games when THPS first released and devs where toying around with the game play. That being said, controls dont copy tony hawk, but they somewhat mimic them; takes a second to get used to but not long at all. I personally enjoy the skill ceiling these games provide. That being said I love these games and im glad this exists lol

I have 44 hours on the demo...

Its been 4 years since release and the player models & player animations are still the scariest thing in the game
