It's good but definitely not perfect, the character feels very unresponsive, you often just die in ways that feel unfair and all the bouncy-things in the game feel super inconsistent. Still really good though, would only recommend, the music and artstyle are amazing.

They charged you full price to be able to have friends play with you without them paying, only to remove that ability, halve the price and offer no sort of refund or second copy of the game or anything. Now you paid double for an unplayable game unless you wanna spend even more money, truly amazing

I really enjoyed this but I think the ending overshadowed how I actually felt about this game. Throughout most of it it felt like there was an interesting story that you were trying to piece together, but honestly, the game never gave you any pieces to work with. It kept kind of dangling the same vague clue in front of your face over and over and it never really made sense, until it kind of all hit at the end. Sure, that made the end even more impactful, but it doesn't distract from the fact that the storytelling in 90% of the game was somewhat lackluster. It was engaging and fun, but it did not actually achieve or progress anything. But maybe I was just too dumb to piece all the clues together in my mind, so this might not be an issue for others.

The combat was also kinda eh? It was satisfying but mostly because it was easy, I literally did not die once in this game with minimal grinding and I am *not* good at these sorts of games, when I played the mother games I died countless times. I also entirely disregarded emotions and went full offense with all my skills and equipment, and I still never had a problem. The music and cool enemies kinda made up for it but it really could have been a little bit harder. The equipment is also pretty annoying, there's tons that do almost the same thing but with different emotions and it's really hard to actually figure out what you want for who and why, and a ton of the skills literally just say "does some damage" and I personally had absolutely no motivation to stray from my couple good ones to risk trying those out.

Overall it was a really great experience and I enjoyed it a whole lot, the music is amazing as well, but it certainly has its flaws that keep it from being my favorite.

This game by all means started out wonderful but the more you play it the more it slowly becomes a monotonous experience. I’ve played the game in full and beat the game in around 18~ hours or less.

I would not recommend this game to the masses, the idea and principle that it is trying to go by in itself is very good. It is just very poorly executed to the point it just falls flat and turns into something that you cannot wait to finish.

As for the pro and cons this is what I noticed in the game.

- The combat system (idea) is very clever and neat
- The art is very well done
- The main character is not overly stereotypical
- The game does a good job at guiding
- The story was relatively ok
- Lack of npcs: Due to how the game was made I would say that this is a selling point that it proves that it was trying to make a stance. Since the game didn’t really tie into basic modern jrpg styles. They just used the fundamentals as a building block
- The crafting section is decent
- The skits are fairly funny or cute at given times

- The combat system is boring and monotonous
- In combat the screen flashes an array of colors or just goes white. I would not recommend it to anyone that easily gets sick from flashing colors.
- After every battle they chatter and say the same lines depending on who killed the mob
- They always shout their attacks while in battle which is beyond annoying after 30 minutes of game play
- Basic flat liner anime characters
- Bland story that lacks a lot of backstory to its characters so the ending has no true reward
- The game is not hard, the bosses besides the last few are merely sponges that take damage then heal. This goes on for many bosses in a row which adds to monotonous game play.
- Moving from area to area seemed like a massive chore, since you knew what was coming. As well for everytime you would go to a new area the mobs would only turn into bigger sponges.
- Hours of grinding to get where you need to be to be able to advance despite having upgraded gear
- Bosses near middle game where pretty much all the same and had all the same set ups. (even the game mocked it so at least it’s self aware.)
- The skits also at times can be very hard too read since a lot of characters are basic anime personalities.

Overall I would rate this a two out of five. The ideas that are presented are good it is just poorly constructed.

Great short film, even worth watching if you haven't played the game. Great cinematography, does an amzing job at conveying emotions and the moral dilemma involved, I couldn't have wished for something better. It's about 8 minutes long, so just watch it; it's worth it.

Love this game but will keep the negative review up until the bugs of the new update are fixed. Basically unplayable, gave me 180k$ for no reason after the update.
