Fantastic. Great action. Great scares. Great mood. Great soundtrack. Lovely dark tone accented by neon purples and greens. Dusk delivers it all and is very welcoming for replays through the quality of FPS gameplay, level design that is an experience, and lots of secrets that aren't all so secret you'll never find one.

My main props for this game do go to the level design. In the third episode, the levels get more and more creative rather than losing steam, getting redundant, or getting uncomfortably obtuse. I say more creative as I don't want to say better, because all the levels are great. There's no dragging moments here and that's saying a lot for any FPS. This is a well designed game with levels offering a mix of tight gameplay and the feeling of adventure as you explore the environments.

It's also saying a lot that while Dusk wears it's inspirations on its sleeve, it doesn't feel like a clone of any of those games. It has its own strong sense of identity and has a spot among the greats.
