Muray's vision has cometh true

Very fun and casual game, if you like to smoke crack and kill bugs.

A very beautiful game, the atmosphere is very relaxing. I found it extremely tranquil to walk thru this forest, with only my thoughts with me. It really made me reflect on myself as a person and really consider making some changes, I have decided to get a job and stop doing drugs now.

This game truly changed my life in the short amount of time I spent being Lost in this Forest.

This game is about killing monsters, if you were wondering. 10/10

TL:DR, The balance of the game is way off.

The research makes the matches feel quite unbalanced. Having the access to higher than green tier signature weapons makes the TTK difference very clear. The issue gets way more noticeable the longer the match goes on, having to fight with purple armor against another team with purple armor, only to be way behind in weapon tiers because your team hasn't unlocked them feels very bad as the underdog.

Progressing in the research tree is also very grindy in nature and doesn't feel too rewarding at times, I also see no reason for the energy cost, and the crafting time to be in the game. Having the materials should be good enough to achieve the research you want, It is just artificial time-gating.

Also the long TTK is made worse by the strong natural healing and shield recharge rate, making long range engagements very useless, it mainly just results in a few poking shots and then the other people hiding to heal in a few seconds. Breaking someones shield or tagging them at a distance only to try and engage them fast in close range almost always results in the enemy having enough time to recover their shield and over 70% of their HP before you are in a close-range fight.

This long TTK issue and strong healing is also noticeable with the explorer meta consisting largely of Valora and Halden. With the combination of Valora and Halden you can survive many things you would not normally be able to do, also Haldens insta-revive makes team fights sometimes feel like 4v3. And Valoras shield being 1-way instead of blocking shots both from the outside and inside feels very bad as the other team, since they just get free cover with no drawback, the shield strength is way too strong for it being a 1-way.

the generic weapons feel underwhelming, and sometimes even useless in a PVP gunfight, unless you manage to find a purple rarity weapon in which case it is passable, and somewhat useful.
