I like horror a lot, and go around trying anything horror on itch/steam/ or even as a rec on YT, which has led to me playing a lot of absolute crap.
I tried the demo for this, and was surprised at how such a simple loop and set up could generate such a feeling of dread and hopelessness and it gave me hope that if done right it could be something so much more.

Im happy to say, its kept its charm, it genuinely got spooks out of me and playing it alone with headphones at night was genuinely since probably playing Yume Nikki the first time I just felt exhausted mentally from playing a game.

The game play is not for everyone, and I tried streaming it for a crowd and I notice most folks left, but those that did stay definitely were engrossed by the music, aesthetic, and genuine wanting to know what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on, and that I think is a sign your onto something great.

-Beat the game on hardest difficulty too me 8 hours 45 minutes
-Some slowdown during some of the bigger fights 10+ characters or before some cutscenes played but never crashed.
-Reminds me alot of DS1 sans the padding

It was alright just wish some more variety in enemies/weapons it was all very standard stuff but it worked.

Solid 8/10 will probably come back for NG+
