i tortured myself to 100% the game in serious difficulty
6 patches some of the glitches from first version still exist lmao

game is fun
too easy tbh(played on "Devotion", I do not know if its actually a difficulty select work like quake) haven't died from enemies or boss once just died from falling off via janky Unreal engine movement system but sinking city can ♥♥♥♥ right off(i'm bad at platforming and side note for who's crashing play it on windowed)
performance is fine for the most part when the game got hectic will drop to 40-50 FPS from 80-90 FPS this is a PC from 2015, dev need to work on textures and Gib and floor collisions because items drops thu the floor and bouncing around
overall its a fun game the story i didn't even follow :y
beaten the game in 7 hours, 1 hour was me dying from janky movement system of Unreal engine "momentum" in sinking city
anyways i recommend it
i get to kill anime girls in gory fashion and execute their dying bodies

btw for those who wants to try the demo but ran into problem
change game executable name to "the_citadel_demo" then relaunch the game it should fix it

but they yeeted deathmatch and snapped map for battlemode

for people who are complaining about no ammo
use chainsaw one normal undead buddy they kept spawning in the arena for the purpose of glory kill and resupply ammo/armor
every arena are beatable just require you to thunk a bit not really that hard
i beat the game in ultra-violence because i pleb

it is a good game but take out the claustrophobic feels of the depth of metro for the open-worldish
which makes me missed market system, military grade ammo, the life of people in metro but i am glad that 4A test this water and its a good game but got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by dumb publisher decision that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over 4A's reputation

and for the DLC its good and i liked it for what it is
awaiting for second DLC to come out

but this actually feels like actual new contents not retextured and reused stuff and call it a day
combat with human is really short yes
but burning stuff is really fun
and it is more focus more in depths of metro and its feels nice

i'd say yeah it does
at least they didn't cost you 10-15 bucks for 1-2 hours of contents
i can actually see the devs put effort into it
