Almost 5 years later and this game still blows me away. There are some moments in this game that look completely life-like. The day 1 performance was night and day better than Part 1’s initial release as well. Thank you, Naughty Dog.

I haven't had this much fun with a shooter since early apex. The art style and aesthetic does a fair bit of carrying for me tbh, cant wait to sink some more hours into this :3

MK1 doesn't have shi on this game

In my opinion this is THE horror game. The story is so much fun and really hits every horror movie trope you can think of, while genuinely being a terrifying experience. RE7 knows how to make you uncomfortable. Honestly this is one of the scariest horror games i've played. I understand why this game isn't as popular with die hard Resident Evil fans, but if you're a fan of horror, this game is gonna hit for you. The story combined with all the amazing extra content you have to play after beating the story really solidified this game as one of the best horror games for me personally.

Edgy russian roulette, whats not to like?

Don't even bother playing the base game without the DLC in 2024. Its blended so seamlessly and is so integral to the story.
