Amazing soundtrack, mostly electronic music, but no song sounds like another. My favorites are Forgotten Tea and Kirkhope for sure.
Furthermore, around two thirds of the songs in here aren't available anywhere outside of Soundodger, so this is the only official way to get them. As a neat bonus it also includes the editor files for all levels, so you can recreate their patterns in your own levels.

Eagle Island’s gameplay is very unique, and feels both fun and satisfying once you get decent at it. However, you’ll never get to a point where it gets boring because you’re too good at it.

Each room has multiple enemies, and while killing most of them is enough, you also should try to kill them in quick succession (called “combos”) to get better rewards. There is no large use for anything beyond a x3 combo, but getting higher ones feels satisfying. The amount of combos that you need to survive is not that high, but trying to get the best out of every room gives additional challenge with no large punishment for failure.

The procedural generation gives the game even more replay value as each run gives you more of these many small challenges and doesn’t train you to just get good at a certain layout of rooms, but to learn the weaknesses of each enemy. But even with that knowledge, the randomized stage layout still can create challenges, such as enemies surrounded by terrain that gives them advantages or multiple enemies together.
For these cases, the game also has multiple stronger abilities, each designed for certain layouts of enemies. These abilities however require a special currency, manaroc, which makes you choose when you want to use them.
There are also runestones, which add small temporary buffs to your character. Over time you will see which of these you like more and how you can use them to their fullest potential.

Aside from the very enjoyable gameplay, there are some other things I like a lot about this game (you can skip this part if you want, it’s not really that important):
- I love the artstyle, everything just fits really well together
- In my opinion a great game for getting into speedrunning, as you don’t have to remember dozens of rooms if you’re playing on a random seed
- Soundtrack is great as well, it does stick out, but also doesn’t get annoying when you play often
- It's very polished (e.g. you can freeze a flying enemy which can also kill other enemies by landing on them), there's are also a bunch of secret rooms in the story mode overworld
- A built in GIF recorder with which you can save the last couple seconds of gameplay as a GIF without needing a recording software (especially good if your PC good enough to record all the time)
- Some "hidden" moves which can be used to get even more control over the gameplay if you're good enough
- Besides a progressing story mode, there’s a mode which mixes all the elements together, which is yet another interesting thing
- Also has a boss rush mode, which is very difficult, but extremely fun once you start getting good at it
- 2 large free updates since the game released (2nd one should come out in a few weeks)

However, while this game is one of my all-time favorites, the gameplay is quite unconventional, and as such, you might not enjoy everything as much as I did. These used to be a demo version on Steam, but it’s not available right now (maybe it’s because a large update comes in a few weeks, I’m not sure…). There is still a demo version available on Gamejolt[gamejolt.com] and https://pixelnicks.itch.io/eagle-island though, but this version is a bit outdated. (In the current version, mushroom dust can’t hurt you after you kill the mushroom, movement is smoother, there are some newer runestones and many more small improvements). This demo generally is a lot harder than the full game, so if you have some trouble getting onwards, but still like the gameplay style, chances are you’ll still enjoy the full version.

Eagle Island is a very unique game which has the potential to be extremely fun and I believe it is heavily underrated. So, in total, I’d highly recommend you to at least give the demo mentioned above a try. It might just become one of your most interesting and fun games.

85% - Fun little racing game for a cheap price
(more detailed review below)
Positive:
+Really cheap (0.80€ and goes pretty often on a 50% sale)
+18 different maps (the description says there are 10, but it's actually 18). Some of the maps are also during rain, fog or in the night. They are built pretty differently with bridges, jumps and turns. You can see this in the image in the desciption
+Really fun for 2 players, especially if they're about equally skilled
+Leaderboards and a Time Trial mode
Negative:
-95 free achievements (and 14 that are pretty much only winning on a specific map, takes about 20 minutes to get those). And yes, there are some people who really want just free achievements, but I don't like that. However, you can turn these off.
-Hitting an other car results in your car completely spinning around and you end up in the opposite direction. For some reasons the CPUs don't seem to be affected by your crash in any way.
-Can get pretty boring in Singleplayer quickly (but it's pretty cheap, so...)
-Could be just an asset flip of this: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/systems/minicar-race-creator-105901

(more detailed version)
Barro is a small, fun and especially cheap racing game. You can choose between 4 cars (you can see these in the description) and play with them on 18 different maps (it's 18 maps, despite the description saying only 10). These maps are all pretty different - there's one that's just 4 turns and a jump; one with a lot of jumps and turns and more. Overall, each one feels different despite them only having streets, ground, ramps and traffic cones and rarely boosters. The visuals are ok. There are streets, sometimes you drive over rocks and there's also cacti. Each map uses the same ''tileset'' however, so from the visuals they all are the same, but not from the gameplay.
The price is really low however. 0.80€ isn't much and the game goes on a 50% sale sometimes as well.
I think the singleplayer may get boring after you played each map 3 times. There are leaderboards and a Time Trial mode. However, if you have someone else to play this game with, it can be really fun, especially if you're equally skilled. I got nearly all of my playtime in multiplayer mode.
That were the good things, now about the negative ones.
It is one of these ''free achievements'' games. I heard that there were originally 5000, but now it's 109. When you start, the game asks you if you want to play with them and you can avoid them (although I cannot confirm that you avoid all and I can't try anymore as I've already gotten the trash :C). 95 of these achievements are absolutely free and you get 13 more by winning against the CPUs which will probably only take 10-30 minutes. Oh and if you wonder what that last achievement is: Just press ''H''. I really don't like that the dev wants to make money from people who are desperate for a high achievement count. And thank you for giving me 109 achievements and a ''perfect'' game I never wanted.
Also, there's one major problem with the physics. If you hit another car, what would you guess happens? You bump a little away from them? Nah. You turn around. 180 degrees. After that, you basically have to reset yourself and lost 5 seconds (which is a lot). And the CPUs don't seem to turn around in any way. You need to be super careful when trying to pass a car.
This game seems to be very similar to this template: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/systems/minicar-race-creator-105901. The dev said that they recoded the physics though and it looks like the template doesn't have built in maps.

Overall:
I recommend this. If you want something to play casually, this is a good choice, especially if you have someone else to play with. The maps are all unique and fun to play and it really isn't expensive.
