A really capable engine, that is not without its limits. But really good for 2D RPG and adventure games.

The gameplay is a really boring collectathon and the player can get stuck pretty easily. The art does not do enough to justify this game.

Really great game, it can be a bit intimidating at first but if you spend some time to learn the mechanics it plays really well at high speeds. The game has a nice variation of levels with solid themes for different areas. It can be really fun to try and get A or S rank times on a favorite level or even to try and hammer through one of the final levels.

It has a couple flaws, the story doesn't add anything to it for me and the level selector is a bit obtrusive. But it works well enough to break up the gameplay a bit.

Worth a look if you enjoy high paced arcade style racers, shooters or platformers.
