I am a huge Doom fan, as I still play the original games. Just putting that out there. Doom: The Dark Ages is modern doom on crack. What I mean by that is it has the feel of the classic games throughout its core, but it's not them. It feels like a mod for the classics but with new shiny stuff, and that's a good thing. some people might criticize the red and green shots, but it adds depth, tho not an enormous one, but it's there to add more complexity, which I find great. the demon roster is some of the best in the series. some people criticize the weaker enemies as one-hit wonders and say that's bad. to me, tho it's not as it plays into the movement of the game in a way that feels right.

To set the stage, I have a challenge to the fine folks at ID, and that is if you can make a great game like this, I bet you can take all the mechanics that you made, excluding the Atlan and the Dragons, and port it over to GZdoom/Zandronum using Zscript/decorate. I know it can be done somewhat, as I have seen Doom 2016 ports to GZDoom and Zandronum and even Vanilla Doom.

If it supports a gfx card, it SHOULD be playable and run at more than 2 fps

Edit: if you're having performance issues, then do a clean install of your gfx drivers. It fixed all my problems.

This is good value for what you get. if you do that math like i have it's about $9 cad per character at 350 F money so this bundle is cheaper by far for what you get. with simple math with out including everything like the stages and the colours for outfit 1 and the outfit 2 entirely it comes out to roughly $106 cad now my math might be off but thos who are saying it's a rip off did not do the math.

Get the XWAU or it's going to look dated.

Good tool with time and effort you can make something truly amazing.

Yes this game has problems but if you break it down it's a good game. for thos who say the gfx suck or that they are low quality or should have been more anime style, i say no to them as this is to celebrate 50 years of the weekly jump maga that is still going on in japan now and how you Goku look if you take him out of the Dragonball Series and put him in the modern world.

The good: almost everything.

The bad: the fact that you have one life bar and the fact that the Create your avatar is not as in depth that it should be. also having some unique attacks in there would be awesome but are not needed.

To a good fighting game player the combat would seem dull once you got the hang of it and i tend to agree on that from but i am not a good play so it's still fun for me as this is just going up against the AI. yes the story is repetitive but the same can be said for almost all fighters. aka a bit of story content then do fighting, rinse and repeat. Hope this helps you all.

i got it to see how good or bad it was and i am farely please with it all be it there is some things i do not like.

first off i do not like the pencel tool with its patrens tho neet and good to have it needs to have a pencel shading patren for it to be exeleant.

second it needs a snap to grid as with out it making dungeons is hard yes you have a line tool but when you can't make your dungeon exact as you have it on paper there is no point.

a feature i would have is if loading a black and white image have it ask if you would like it recreated in the program as that would be awsome.

other then that i find this program vary good to use and i would also like a custome color option for the pencel.

it's doom there is nothing more to say about it other then it gosr back to the roots of what made doom great in the first place.

For tho of you that say it's a rip off of an already existing game yes it is and if i had the choose witch one to play it would be this why? it had better gfx and it's speed is good and just everything about it is better sure you could reproduce it for web but now heres the kicker game modes as there is only a few for now but it will get more as time gose on and with the old game it was in my eyes a bit cluncky but not by much compared to this game.

for thos of you that will defend the other game as wile it's not bad this is better and to do anything worth wile in the other game like skins thats a mod here it's for free or gold depending on the skin and this is not a micro transaction wore as i have 800 gold coins witch are a transfer from Mitosis the companys other game. so even if you do spend money it works for both games.

yes i know both are free but i would rather play this as it's just that much better. also worms is a better chose then snakes if i wanted to play a game about snakes i would play SNAKE.
