Neat and fun dungeon game with some really nice base building and art assets. Decent boss fights that don't feel incredibly awful and gate keeping. Solid feel of progression and decent multiplayer.

Interesting take on the factory builder type games.

It manages to move you from working with individual assembly lines to making those individual machines a single node in a blueprint containing hundreds of individual machines. It still manages to be coherent at a level where the scale shifts even further until planets become nodes in your interstellar distance spanning factory.

A decent spiritual successor to the Left4Dead franchise.

Content can get a little stale due to reusing maps but it works due to the games story being set out of one central location. However map knowledge is very important on the highest difficulty.

A solid game if you have a small group of friends who want to play. Public matches are hell on earth.

Has improved dramatically since early access. Story is decent enough and it's relaxing to play with friends.

Interesting game. Somewhat buggy at times especially when on land.

Works best with 2-3 people playing to divide labour and distract Bruce.

Interesting concept with a little bit of The Settlers vibe where you don't get to directly control your guys. The building and detailing system is really nice and the "desire" pathing system works surprisingly well.

Whilst the core gameplay loop of harvest, build, harvest, upgrade & repeat remains mostly untouched the game does get better with each update. Keen to see where it ends up.

Been following this game since easy on via videos on YouTube. With the recent release I finally got it for myself and I haven't been disappointed.

I'm just getting toward what I think is the end of the story and I'm hungry for more. The way the game progresses is really well thought out. Taking that first dive past 50m with your Seaglide was terrifying and now I'm living in a cave filled with bones 1km under the surface and haven't seen the sun for dozens of in game days.

Highly recommended. My only main concern is the fixed world gen will make subsequent playthroughs less exciting. It would be great if research locations where randomised so you can't just grab all the good stuff straight away.

2023 Review:
Game is still receiving content and fixes and has entered my regular rotation of games. Highly recommended purchase.

Sometimes as a nurse I struggle to keep people alive. This game makes struggling to keep people alive fun.
