I'm used to super fast ADHD gameplay (ie Diablo 3) so this is a nice change of pace. It's scratching the itch that D4 couldn't, at least at the moment. Currently sitting at level 50, so opinion is liable to change in the approach to end game. First dip into PoE has been super enjoyable though, and I'd gladly recommend it to anyone with the slightest interest in the game.

Missing out on a 60% discount to buy Endwalker because I own a Steam account instead of a Windows account.

If this alone isn't a clear sign of why you should AVOID playing this game through Steam, I don't know what else is.

GET RID OF IT. THROW IT.

The amount of stress I felt trying to properly manoeuvre a cube with random shapes on it while being timed was insane. Coupled with the fact that picking up and putting down these cubes were EXTREMELY buggy, I can't recommend this instalment of the series.

Picking up the cube often resulted in immediately dropping the cube.
The cube would often randomly float to the top of my screen, putting it out of my FoV.
Trying to hold onto the cube after inspecting it seemed to be a 50/50 on whether it would just fall out my hands or I would keep holding onto it.
Dropping the cube would leave my screen blurry as though I was still inspecting it.

All of this happened after left clicking a cube to inspect it. Honestly, avoid the frustration, stick to the other games in the series. This felt much less like a puzzle game and more like a test to see how well you can operate while under stress. Maybe the peasant playthrough is a bit less infuriating.

I'm a noob when it comes to games like this but I had a lot of fun learning how to build machines that I could extend as long as I needed. The logic gates are a bit too much for me, so I had to resort to YouTube guides at some point in free play but had a lot of fun in the process!
