Excellent presentation, graphics, UI, characters, music, and environment.
There's no guide on where and when to go. There's also no fanfare when you 'complete' an area but there's quite a lot to experience for a free demo. So exploration is highly encouraged.
Some people might be put off by the surprisingly difficult maneuvers you're expected to make and while checkpoints exist, they are not plentiful.
Highly recommend checking it out but 100%ing is a daunting task without some sort of coin counter for the individual areas.

I backed it and I'm really glad everyone gets to have a taste before the main game comes out.

Just some cosmetics. Buy this if you want to support the developers or you love to shower.

A cute, silly party game. Fun mayhem with a low skill ceiling with a mix of luck. It would certainly benefit having a few more maps and/or gamemodes as games can be over pretty quick sometimes.

I don't think it should be always online but the servers haven't gone down and lag hasn't been an issue yet.

EDIT: Please add a sheep.

Before reading my review, it's worth noting that I'm a pretty big Sam and Max fan so my opinion of this game is probably biased.

If I had to give this game a score, it'd be 6-7 out of 10. It is above average with its sharp writing and art style, well fitted to Sam and Max. The majority of the problems come from its glitches or jank-ness. I experienced quite a few bugs, for example teleporting through platforms and a piece of a puzzle that became unanchored from the rest of the puzzle. Thankfully, none of them were game-breaking and a minor inconvenience at best. The jank-ness comes from how certain mini-games react to your input with physics being strange and unpredictable at times. Lots of set pieces just clipping or only being modeled on one side add to the unpolished vibe I get from this game. (Weird note: The subtitles have a reoccurring problem of being incorrect to what the character actually says)

The core of the game is a collection of mini-games wrapped up into a story while listening to Sam and Max throw humorous quips at you. Pretty hilarious most of the time although a bit repetitive occasionally.

You will probably finish this game in one sitting. Some might complain about it being short for it's price tag of $30 USD, I really don't mind. Being only known as a point-and-click series, maybe this was experimentation on what other genres might work for Sam and Max.

I very much hope people will still give this game a chance when its on sale and/or support the developers so this won't be a one-and-done situation. I'm starved for new Sam and Max content and this title helped at least a little. If you feel the same way, maybe you'll have some fun with this one too.

Just about delivers everything I wanted from a Psychonauts sequel. If you have not played the first one, it's still a very well-made game that can pull you in with it's story, gameplay, style, and writing.

Highly Recommended.

Fun game but you should buy it on GOG and save yourself the headache of trying to set up this version.

I waited to review this game mostly because I was barely able to play it at launch due to server issues.

Mordhau has one of the most engaging melee combat system that breaks up the attack, block, attack, block pattern. Chambering, feigning, morphing, or even using all three keep fights alluring. The Frontline mode might be the most fun for me since it's more objective based rather than deathmatch. The PvE horde mode definitely needs some more work. Weapon variety is great and you might be enticed to try out a new one and see how to use it effectively. (Though you'll probably just stick to one of huge two-handers that can instantly kill people with well-placed blows. Something you'll have to get used to is players who abuse animation changes by contorting their body into some deformed windmill attack that are difficult to block. (Just stabbing them while they do that is probably your best bet). Although horses, ballistas, catapults and other long range weaponry is available, as long as someone didn't already take it, if you don't like close quarters combat.

If you liked Chivalry, you'll probably like this.

Early Access Review
A promising start to a PT-inspired horror game with only a few minor gameplay issues specifically the unclear sanity meter and the support items such as lightbulbs and candles which don't seem very helpful in most situations.

EDIT: This game has still getting updates since its release in 2016. It's DEFINITELY worth it.

In Death Road to Canada, you are a survivor making their way from Florida to Canada in a brutal zombie-infested roadtrip. Along the way you'll meet friends, enemies, and frenemies with their own randomized skills and characteristics. You can also create your own survivors and set their appearence and traits. The undead, bandits, and your own ineptitude will put your survival skills to the test as you collect food, fuel, medicine, and bullets. All of which are important on the Death Road.

The highlight of Death Road to Canada is the absurdity of it. Mexican wrestlers, giant bug-eyed anime girls, or a Monday-hating orange cat can be meet on the road as RARE characters. Reading SWOLE magazine increasing your strength or transforming your dog into a Dogman, the randomized events on the Death Road make each attempt more interesting than the last. All while making you laugh, this game will punch you in the gut with its difficulty and other game modes to mix things up.

I wholeheartedly recommend this game for its replayability, awesome soundtrack, and the comedic tone that makes it a memorable roadtrip simulator.
