Awesome game, nothing like it in this genre.

Love the series, battles are fun and manageable. Only issue is the Army General campaign. Battles and maps are way to repetitive to enjoy after a while. Need less units on the strategic map and a lot more terrain variation in the battle maps.

Naval Action,

I bought the game back when it was just coming out of Sea Trials and getting an Open World setting.

The game is truly awesome. 17th-18th century Naval Warfare at it's peak. Beautiful Sailing ships, a good damage model with a well done net code makes fighting and sailing such an experience, you cannot have in any other games. The thrill of the hunt in your nimble frigate or the fear of being hunted in your trading ship is something keeps me playing for hours.

The game being an Open World MMO, you can sail around alone or as a group of people working together.
Fight epic battles of 50 ships which is just mind blowing. Massive First-Second rate Ships of the Line slugging it out where tactics and cohesion wins battles is incredible.

the game has it's flaws, yes, but having many-many people spending thousands of hours, buying second- third accounts speak for itself.

Great game, try it out, ask for help and join a team. You will not regret it.
