Good to see there is some love being poured into this game, it was always a good game but fairly stale. Seeing people come back and breath life into this game is good to see :)

Great game to play with friends,

The vibe of the game is similar to a game like ARK or Conan Exiles, whilst trading the large multiplayer environments for a rich, content packed world and a more focused story line with an emphasis on coop.

Add to that a voxel-based mining and building system that is perhaps one of the most detailed and fleshed out in a game of this category, and it easily justifies its price-tag :)

Highly recommended even for people who are more into those MMO style survival games like rust, ark, conan, last oasis etc etc, there is a lot to love here.

It's shame the game didn't release into a closed alpha environment in the state it is now. It would've been received infinitely better.

Things to like:
-Lots of zombies, like, A LOT (system needs to be fleshed out still)
-looks decent graphically
-Pretty good and detailed depth in survival systems
-what parts of the map that are accessible are detailed, perhaps a touch empty but POIs are plentiful, it's just LARGE
-consistent updates, most recent made the game actually play like a game
-base claiming is pretty cool, more tools are needed though to fix up and fortify houses
-incredibly good and fleshed out animations especially on weapons, Shiny Hax and the team did a wonderful job.
-Loot system makes sense, is fairly in depth from location to location and makes the world feel alive

Things to dislike:
-bare bones experience overall with no defined gameplay loop
-incomplete map
-no players (I have been enjoying myself in SP)
-minor (consistently improving) performance issues
-some jank in movement, mostly vaulting
-zombies (can't walk into some buildings, go through others, don't react well to players and have no feedback during combat, they also can't be cleared out to my knowledge, I spent like 40 minutes trying to clear out around one building, they also need more variety, unique characteristics and better gore and animations)

With the games most recent update, it is now in a state that I'm comfortable saying that people can invest in the future of this game without feeling let down, the team behind the game have proven that even if they started off with terrible management skills, they are able to learn and adapt and FINALLY bring us something with potential. Hopefully they keep it up, there is a lot of promise here.

Extremely promising new survival game, some tweaks are needed to things like bosses raiding. Far more polished than your average early access game!

Some things that need to be tweaked before I can safely say the game is in good hands:

Scaling for solo players: Some bosses are almost impossible as a solo

Progression: Some things are unlocked at weird times, for example, to command your servant you need a castle throne, for that you need iron. At this point you aren't even at the level to mine iron let alone defeat the boss to make iron, yet to progress through the quest you need to do it. Then you need to defeat another boss that you can't even see on the altar yet to get the explosives to access the area with the boss you need to defeat to get access to crafting iron. See what I mean? It is really clunky and breaks the otherwise pretty smooth gameplay loop, please fix lol

Roaming Bosses: These bosses shouldn't ♥♥♥♥ off when they get too far away from their pathing, it doesn't make sense for me to be fighting Tristan the Vampire hunter only for him to run off down the road and heal all his health because we ran too far down the road from where his last path was.

Crafting costs: Armour for example. Every piece in a set has the same cost, but not the same protection values, doesn't really make sense for stuff that is so expensive, it wouldn't matter if there was a way to make wool thread in medium quanities without coarse thread, but instead we have to hope on a chance in dunley, farming for multiple hours just for a piece of armour. TLDR; Boots have less protection, so they should cost less.

either way, great game for early access, you don't see a gem like this very often!

Game is okay alone, better with friends. I played on a RP Server for most of my time so take that as you will.

TL;DR - ♥♥♥♥ AI, Meh, grindy Building, good PVP, good Graphics, quality of life needs a lot of work.

It's a fun game for about 40-50 hours, feels like most of that time is spent building though. That is to say, it's a grindy mess. The building mechanics themselves are fine, worse than both Miscreated and Rust, but better than it was on launch and certainly better than miscreated's free form building (before they fixed it). AI is pretty messy, don't play this game if you are looking for a good AI experience. The respawn system is broken (or intentionally annoying, pretty horrific in design if that is the case). However, overall a fun experience. Like I said, with friends. There isn't a whole lot to do that isn't missions. A pretty significant portion of the gameplay experience is running as well. That being said, it's great fun in PVP situations with good gear. So that is a huge plus. The graphics are also very good. Looks of quality of life issues though.

Overall, only just a recommend. You NEED a group to enjoy this, if not a group, at least people to contest and PVP.

The game is good fun, and it's actually alive which I found surprising ngl, after it dropped off youtube a while back. The games mechanics are interesting, it kind of reminds me of a better Ark.

Good game, I don't like it, the gunplay isn't my style but I like the premise and it's well made, so I'll recommend it.
