(I) If I suddenly added you as a friend, don't be surprised. Chances are, I found you through a particular group, but without any definite purpose. Maybe I liked your profile, or maybe I just decided that you could share my gaming interests, opinions, or just be a good conversation partner for me.

(You) If you want to add me as a friend, please note that I do not add everyone and may ignore your request. The only exceptions are:

Have not reached at least level 10 of steam.

Have a VAC block due to deliberate cheating. In most cases, it is given for a reason; I can give an exception for worthy friends who got VAC by their own stupid mistake.

Having a hidden profile. Be more open - it shows that you are a live player, not a bot.
