Phenomenal

I strongly recommend getting this game on gamepass. It's a 12/20 or along those lines.

It's overall "okay-ness" makes it a good purchase for 20-30€, or via the gamepass subscribtion, that would be a banger deal.

For 80€ or more I strongly suggest not getting it.

It has a lot of bug and immersion issues, along with poor quality of life in general.

It's not a bad game though, hence the 12/20, but for 80€ I expect a great game.

I do not recommend buying this game in its current state. It is incredibly buggy, unstable and lacks a LOT simple features (like muting, reporting, kicking, setting some private games settings, etc.)

Immersion is often broken by people spamming voice chat (which can't really be avoided) or teamkilling (which is unpunished) and you can't kick them from the game either.

The gameplay is somewhat new and can be engaging at time, but overall the gameplay loop is spawn, move, kill. There is no progression of any kind (career, weapons, unlocks, achievements) and you'll find yourself bored of the game relatively quickly.

There is no decent matchmaking, you'll sometimes be in 2v8.

In team deathmatch (one of the only two game modes), you can spawn literally behind people and kill them, and they might spawn where you just spawned and kill you right back. I have spawned on the exact same location sometimes 2-3 times in a row.

In BodyBomb (the other game mode) you can plant the bomb anywhere on the map which is a bit odd.

All controls are weird, a loading screen tip tells you to press G to throw a grenade, but G actually drops your equipment (which equips the grenade because you don't have a gun anymore).

It's full of weird unpolished, unfinished issues like areas of the map where ceiling is too low and you have to crouch for no apparent reason.

Sound is *ridiculously* loud, especially gun sounds, and they laugh about it in the options "IRL guns are loud lol" ; sure, because military operators don't use hearing protection, so neither should we. For full immersion, please destroy your ear drums.

Settings will reset between each match.

"Servers" are p2p hosted, if the host leaves the game everyone is kicked. Which happens when you kill the guy.

I don't see anyone playing this game for more than ~20 hours at best, even if playing with friends.

Almost 100% of all the assets in the game (maps, weapons, equipment, characters and the body cam itself...) are all assets from the unreal store, almost untouched.

The studio is shady as hell in its communication and bans creators that posted videos that said the game was bad (me included)

Oh yeah and it's 30€ (with the 10% reduction).

It's literally a playable unreal engine 5 demo with a lot of effects that make it not as good looking as it could be.

Its' an amazing game. A beautiful addition to the original, while being very, very faithful to what it was and yet improve gracefully upon it.

You'll have the nostalgia you're looking for, and more. Way more.

An excellent surprise.

This is probably the best optimizing game you'll ever find. It's not that it's difficult, it's that it's rich. It's complete and really, really deep.

There's no real difficulty setting even if you can setup your world in various ways (richness of resources, abundance, quantity of enemies, etc.), but your progress and your obstacles is mostly defined by you. By how much you accept that the current base design you have is sufficient.

If you like optimizing, planning, engineering, this game is for you. If you have OCD and like things clean, this game is for you. If you like cleaning up a dirty mess, this game is for you.

It will all be your fault when things dont work, you'll have the challenge of fixing it, and the reward of looking at something marvelous afterwards, that works wonders and exactly how you like. Until you get better at the game and realize how bad it is, and then the process starts over. Except now you have different tools, more personal experience in the game, and a new plan that is obviously better.

Relaxing, challenging, interesting. Zen & controlled, intelligent destruction. It's almost therapeutic.
