falls into many of the same pitfalls of the 1st game with the first half being promising before all of it being thrown away in the second half

sony is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid

You start off parrying some random samurai going KLING thinking alright this is kinda cool, let's give this a try. Next you're deflecting the arrows from a guy jumping in the air and somehow firing off four arrows before landing thinking okay okay maybe this game has potential. Before long you find a huge monkey weighing 6 metric tons MINIMUM and deflect his right hook without a scratch on you and right then you know you're playing the game of the decade.
