i had this game for a while now and just recently decided to play it and man, how i hate myself for not giving a chance to this game earlier, everything about this game is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brilliant, this game is so good on so many levels.

The artstyle and the music are both gorgeous and immersive.

The hidden lore behind the game is sparse and hard to understand at first, but man is it worth it, the story itself and the lore are simply majestic.

The gameplay feels so fluid and fun, the spells in the game all feel extremely powerful, there is a big variety of charms you can equip to fit your playstile. The exploration of the game is really well made, and every time you get a new upgrade, you unlock a whole lot of areas you couldn't access before.

Each area has a unique feel and style going for it, with completely unique enemies and at least one unique boss in every single area. Seriously, the game has more than 150 unique enemies.

Speaking of bosses, each and every single one of them are incredibly fun to fight, some are frustrating, absolutely, but they are still fun and especially satisfying once you beat them, and beating a boss in this game usually unlocks a new area with something really worth your time, so you never feel like you had a difficult fight for nothing,

And i didn't even talk about the fact that the game has four COMPLETELY FREE DLCs, that each add a lot of content and just make the game better in general. (the grim troupe is my personal favorite with their questline + having my favorite boss in the entire game)

Overall this game is an absolute masterpiece and you should absolutely play it, even if you're not a fan of metroidvania type games.
