Has a very nostalgic feel of games from the PSO1 era. Could definitely see this being on the Gamecube or something.

Listen, I love this game. A lot. The PSN thing doesn't really affect me, but it does affect a ton of people for various reasons and I stand by them. Plus Sony just sucks in general.

Plus AH's balancing decisions leave a lot to be desired, and new and old content are really buggy. I suspect this likely has something to do with Sony rushing them for and forcing them to crunch and not release things when they're ready.

I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before Sony meddles again, but for now, here we go.

I have no idea what a HoloLive is but this game is pretty darn great.

Took me about 4.5 hours to unlock all the upgrades we're currently able to. I'll probably put in a bit more time to unlock every achievement.

Good foundation, also enjoy being able to set the pace. I like that "leveling" isn't tied to kills or experience and is instead tied to completing objectives.

I enjoy the art style, the weapons feel nice. Definitely looking forward to seeing more. Music is good, too.

Very content-light at the moment of writing this. One map/objective type. Runs are about 20 minutes depending on how fast you go. Definitely wanting to see more and can't wait to see it.

Would I recommend this game? Probably not. Has potential to be a great PvE game, but have no interest in PvP.

This feels like one of those arcade games designed to eat your quarters.

Amazing foundation but the game runs really poorly and there's a god awful cash shop. A lot of potential marred by greed.

It serves as a passable tower defense game, but a little unclear at points. Tower stats are kind of hard to read (You'll get variants to towers, but can't compare them with the base tower until after you select it) and what your hammers do can be confusing. The third hammer, the one that poisons, makes no mention of how to actually throw the vial (You have to grab the bottom of the hammer).

The third area, the Mines, has been kind of a turn off for me. There's barely anywhere to build that isn't on the enemy path. It can feel really claustrophobic. If you place a barrier down in certain parts you can block your own path. There's also enemies that sail down the top path in a minecart that you can't really do much about. I guess you're supposed to just sacrifice barriers to them, according to a response from one the devs I received, which is not a fun mechanic and counter to the tower DEFENSE genre. There's no actual counter play.

There's potential, but right now It's not something I can really recommend.

Genuinely surprised at how much I'm enjoying this game. The main focus is 2v2 and there's some nice synergy with your team mates. Game definitely feels like it has some heart put into it. Characters will have little quips towards each other, even from different franchises. Animations are really nice and each character players somewhat differently, each one falling under a specific archetype.

Has a free and premium battle pass. Only cosmetics in it, no pay to win stuff. Premium pass is only a couple of dollars.
