As someone who’s journeyed through the evolving landscape of video games since the days of the Atari 2600, I’ve witnessed first-hand the myriad of ways our gaming experiences have transformed. From the simplistic yet charming bleeps of “Pong” to the vast, sprawling universes of today’s open-world adventures, my controller has seen it all. It’s from this well of experiences that I draw my declaration: “Plate Up!” is unequivocally one of the best games I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing.

At first glance, “Plate Up!” might seem like another entry in the bustling restaurant management genre. Yet, it distinguishes itself through its ingeniously crafted gameplay mechanics, a delightful art style, and an engaging progression system that keeps you hooked for “just one more round” - a promise that often stretches into hours of immersive play.

What sets “Plate Up!” apart for me, a self-proclaimed hardcore gamer, is its perfect blend of strategy, creativity, and chaos. Balancing the kitchen’s demands with customer satisfaction, all while managing upgrades and dealing with the occasional curveball thrown your way, feels reminiscent of the multifaceted challenges games have presented over the decades. Yet, it feels fresh, innovative, and thrillingly modern.

The game’s art style is a vibrant and engaging feast for the eyes, capturing the frenetic energy of a bustling kitchen and the variety of dishes with a clear and appealing aesthetic. Its soundtrack, a lively ensemble of tunes, complements the bustling kitchen atmosphere perfectly, enveloping you in the game’s world.

“Plate Up!” has an uncanny ability to teach complexity through simplicity. Much like the classics where gameplay depth was ingeniously woven into a few simple mechanics, “Plate Up!” introduces players to its systems in an approachable manner, then gradually reveals layers of strategic depth that can satisfy even the most seasoned strategists.

In my extensive gaming career, few titles have managed to capture my attention and admiration as wholly as “Plate Up!” has. It’s a testament to what video games can achieve: fun, engaging, challenging, and endlessly entertaining. To the developers, I extend my heartfelt appreciation for crafting a game that stands tall in the pantheon of my gaming experiences. “Plate Up!” is not just a game; it’s a delightful journey that I’m thrilled to continue, plate by plate.

Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition is an awesome game that any real-time strategy fan should try. The updated graphics look great, and there are tons of civilizations to choose from with their own unique bonuses and units. The gameplay is challenging, with smart AI opponents that will keep you on your toes. Plus, there are different game modes, including campaign, skirmish, and multiplayer, so there's something for everyone. The tutorial system is also helpful for new players. Overall, I highly recommend this game!

The story seems to have been written by a 10-year-old boy, but the game is very fun and I recommend it. You just have to be prepared to be immersed in a story that doesn't make sense.

I really can't stop smiling while playing this game.
I was worried because my expectations were really high after so many years of waiting, but Ron has done it again.

Return to Monkey Island keeps the magic of the saga as fresh as the first day.

Thank you very much for this game, we really needed it!!!

I have played countless games in my life. I’ve fought dragons, conquered galaxies, built civilizations, and led armies into battle. Yet, nothing—NOTHING—has ever come close to the sheer brilliance, depth, and raw emotional intensity of Project Zomboid.

This is not just a game. This is the ultimate zombie survival experience. Every second, every decision, every tiny mistake could mean the difference between life and death. And when you die—and you WILL die—it won’t be because of some cheap mechanic or scripted event. It will be because of you. Because you forgot to check your surroundings. Because you got overconfident. Because you left the stove on. Because hunger, exhaustion, and desperation made you sloppy.

The level of immersion is insane. The world is massive, dynamic, and utterly unforgiving. You can scavenge for food, barricade a house, farm, fish, craft weapons, manage injuries, or even die from something as mundane as an infected scratch. And the zombies? They are relentless, terrifying, and eerily realistic. Their moans, the way they swarm, the panic that sets in when you hear a window shatter downstairs—it’s absolute horror in the best possible way.

But what truly sets Project Zomboid apart is the stories it creates. Every single playthrough feels like a handcrafted narrative of survival, loss, and desperation. The moment you think you’re safe, the game reminds you that you’re just one mistake away from losing it all. And when you do lose, you don’t just respawn. Your character, their skills, their memories, everything is gone—except the world they left behind. Their corpse still roams the streets, a grim reminder of your past life.

And let’s talk about the devs—these people are legends. They have poured their hearts and souls into this game, constantly improving and expanding it with an almost obsessive level of passion. Few studios in the world show this level of dedication to their players.

Project Zomboid is not just a game. It’s a masterpiece. It’s the best survival game ever made.

If you haven’t played it yet, stop reading this. Buy it. Play it. Lose yourself in it. And then come back and tell me I was right.

10/10. Would die horribly again.

If you liked Theme Hospital you MUST buy this game.
The animations are incredible, the game mechanics are very polished and it is amazingly fun!
It makes me very happy to know that not only this genre has not disappeared but has been improved.

Es uno de los mejores juegos indies que jugué este año. Tanto las mecánicas de cada uno de los personajes desbloqueantes como la música son realmente excelentes. SUPER recomendable para jugar con amigos durante jornadas interminables.
